Preston,Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday, have got big parts to play in how the top three places are sorted. All the other teams have an equal part, but the three mentioned are teams inform and each of them will be dangerous opposition.

We really need Villa to start getting into the Play Off places so they are still interested come the end of the season with their last two matches being against Norwich and Leeds!

Clearly all games are vitally important - but the three matches above (across 7 days) could easily be make or break.

The first game we both play at 3pm Sat

The second Leeds play Tuesday, we play Wednesday

The third we play at 3pm, they play at 5:30

huge opportunity to pile some pressure on them if we perform well between now and that Birmingham game

Norwich will not drop a single point in five of their games, Rotherham, QPR, Wigan, Blackburn, Reading.
Those sides won’t be able to lay a glove on them and maybe only Rotherham would make it harder being at their place.
Boro are actually shit, so they might drop a couple of points there. Villa might be hard to beat.

But I don’t see any weakness in Norwich so they will go up.
But it really could go either way for us and Leeds. Both sides have a habit of chucking a bad day in here and there, and after thinking Leeds looked a little bit running in empty seem to have found their energy and performance levels in their last three games.

So although it’s interesting reading, match predictors are pointless. Simply because if they weren’t everyone would be winning in the betting slips every week.

I can't see Norwich having much issue with any team they've still to play before the end of the season. Maybe Boro could get something out of the game, Villa also but beyond that I'm not sure. For Leeds then their game against us I think could go either way, plus Brentford & Villa could get something and you never know, the Pigs could give us a helping hand. For us, as I've said Leeds could go either way, Millwall is never an easy game for us, Bristol aren't a bad side although maybe aren't the team we thought they were when they looked like making a charge for a top 4 spot, plus Stoke weren't too bad when we played them at home so if it goes to the wire, could make for a nervy finish.

Looking at those fixtures I think Norwich will win their home games but away games at Rotherham.'Boro,Stoke and Villa may see them stutter. If they manage to win their next two away games they will be just about there

I think we will need 7 wins minimum to make the autos. With 5 away games to come that is going to be tough

Those thinking Wednesday are going to a job for us at Leeds and Norwich - how hard do / did these fixtures look when we are going there ?Could we really expect that truly average bunch to get something? Very wishful thinking we are going to have to play out of our skins in the away matches and that I can believe in.

The (kind of) comforting thing is, Wednesday taking points off either could see them in the play-offs and us up, or losing to both seeing us in the play-offs but not them!
Either way, hopefully we will be avoiding the nerve-wracking scenario of having to play them again this season!!

Updated following yesterday's games and also extended to include play-off contenders for those increasingly interested in a certain teams' progress

Based on season average:

Norwich 94.42
Blades 89.58
Leeds 88.37
WBA 81.11
Boro 72.11
Brizzle 70.28
FLD 69.62
Villa 69
PNE 69
Pigs 66.58

Based on the more volatile form guide (last 8):

Norwich 99
Blades 94
Leeds 89
WBA 81
PNE 77
Villa 71
Pigs 71
Brizzle 68.75
Boro 67
FLD 66.13

Ib'd be very happy with that. Keeps them interested when they have to play Norwich and Leeds...
It's the big worry about finishing 3rd though, Boro, FLD, Brizzle falling away and 3 in-form teams hitting the play-offs in form. Better make sure we make top 2 and let dirty Leets worry about it :)

But yes, if a certain team do make it, chances are they will have done us favours along the way so as long as we keep doing the business......

Much prefer the look of the recent form table. Don't wAnt to be going to stoke on last day without having already claimed 2nd place when leeds have Ipswich at home. In the short term both teams results at Preston look key.

Leeds are away at Ipswich. Our fixtures now align with theirs for the rest of the season. When they are away, we are and vice versa.

I do agree with your point though, we can't expect any favours from Ipswich wherever the game is...

Can't we just write to the EFL proposing that owing to Brexit uncertainty we end the League now and go with the above on either count?

Hoof is the new sideways.

Looking on twitter and the Norwich and Leeds fans seem to be fairly convinced we will drop points against Millwall

Millwall can’t be anything less than a home win, hopefully by 2 clear goals.

We can only afford to drop 3 more points between now and the end of the season and I’d pencilled in 2 of those to be against Stoke. :)

I’d hate to be involved in some kind of goal difference malarkey with Leeds on the last day. Them knocking in 4 or 5 in at home v. Ipswich. :(
