Tom Heaton if we could move on 7 of our 8 Goalies.

Mo Besic would be a superb signing for the Championship.

I haven't followed Matty James' career recently but remember him looking a talented midfielder.
Many on the list are there because they’ve turned down a new contract and have already got a new club lined up, Heaton is one of those, going to Man Utd apparently.

Felix Nmecha could be worth a look.

Most of those are injury prone/reaching the end of their career/would expect high wages.

I hope we're having a long hard look at the kids being released.

Not sure signing a Bosnian will be top of a Serbian manager's priorty list tbh

From the list, Nmecha and Pereira appear to be the picks. I'd also keep an eye out for any that don't re-sign with Palace although I suspect there'll be Prem interest for most.

Leaving the Bosnia/Serbia thing to one side, Besic is 29 in September, has a low mileage in his legs as a footballer and is exactly what we need in our midfield, as a shielder/destroyer. Mobility, tenacity, a bit of devilment and experience of the club. He is also happy living in the north of England. He'll more than likely end up at another championship club and be a success.

Van Ginkel in an enigma. 29 in December and has a low mileage in his legs as a footballer. There is a talented player in there. Great engine, scores goals and has a work ethic. In 17/18 he scored 14 in 28 in the dutch top division.

Bettinelli just turned 29, and was in the England squad in 2018. Spent the season on loan at Boro last season & would make an excellent, proper & competent no. 2 at BDTBL next. Rumoured to be in contract talks with Fulham.

Felix Nmecha, was meant to be the next big thing at city and was flirting with cup game squad. Was out for nearly a year with injury and never really found his stride again. Still only 20, and has plenty of up side.

Andy Carroll, i would have him on a short term/pay as you play deal in the blink of an eye. The type of forward that we are missing & a real threat off the bench. If a championship level club could keep him fit for a season, he'd repay them 10 fold, even if it were limited to last 20 mins off the bench. He could be our new Wayne Allison.

Carroll is very injury prone. That Lundstrum guy sounds interesting though.

While Besic has not played a huge amount of games for a player of his age, I'm not sure I'd class him as low mileage with him having suffered numerous hamstring injuries and an ACL.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like him as a player and thought he should have featured more for Utd than he did - I'm just not sure Utd would go for him having already prematurely ended his loan and don't forget he is a red card waiting to happen.

I’d take Blackman back over some of our reserve keepers
Carroll if the wages weren’t silly
and Elmohamedy because he is capable of delivering high quality early crosses

I wish it was Ola Aina who was out of contract. He's only on loan from Torino. I'd have him in a heartbeat. But alas it's his brother Jordan who's out of contract.

I reckon Besic could be the most overhyped player in recent SUFC history. Didn’t do owt on loan apart from a goal with his swinger in the FA Cup. Made out like he’s the Bosnian Kante. Not played a first team game in over a year. Meh. At least Des Hamilton impressed on loan!

A lot of keepers will be looking for a 3rd choice keeper contract by the look of that list.

Get one on cheap wages and sell Rammers, he’s our worst signing ever remember.

There`s none who shout out to me "gerrem signed". I want to see a team which is good enough to go up, but at the same time is young enough not to be disrupted by turnover of players as soon as we are promoted.

Yes we want some players with experience, but let them be fit players on their way up in their careers, not on the way down.

We're building a squad, not a nursing home.

Edit: ok, Townsend is only 29. Gerrimin.

Is this the actual list? Because there's a few in there Townsend, Fernandinho for example that still seem integral to their club's plans... Is it that they are just expected to renew their contracts imminently?!

Oh, here you go...
