You like Tony Capstick don’t you ?
Nothing against him - I like a well placed “Wazock” more.

I agree. It's total disinterest from robots up there. The view is brilliant, can’t fault it, I was surrounded by statues. I shouted at the ball boy to get a move on at one point, felt embarrassed for doing so, turned around to alleviate my feelings of guilt, to be met with disinterested, unengaged, indifferent zombies. The highs and lows of the match had little apparent impact on my immediate neighbours.
My granddaughter wants to return to the kop, I agree with her
The ref was not great but the better team on the night won
I thought a draw would have been a fair result overall. I think Fulham moved the ball really well and they had really good pace in their side, something we didn't do as well as them. But two of their goals came from our own mistakes, one of those was avoidable (the back-pass from CCV). These things happen. CCV has been great for us up to now and was my MOTM at Burton. I wouldn't criticise the lad for that and he'll learn from it. At the end of the day though, only a miraculous goal-line clearance from Big Jim's header prevented it from being a 5-5 draw. Great entertainment and although I was disappointed with the result I felt I had my money's worth last night. Yes the referee was inconsistent, but we can't blame him or anyone really for that result. No one is blaming them, Fulham deserved the win but I’d just like them to do the job they are paid to do, handsomely, to the best of their ability and they’re not.
We can’t blame the ref and we won’t, we lost to a slightly better team on the night but a referee can certainly disrupt and influence a game of football and he did that last night, there were some good players on show but you always end up talking about the refs.I thought a draw would have been a fair result overall. Survival of the fittest then - literallyFor a long time I've felt that the time keeping should be made public.
90 mins counting down on a score board. Whenever the ball is not in play, it stops. When the ball enters play again. It starts.
No argument about Fergie time n all that.

Unfortunately with us doing well, some of the Kop riff-raff have infiltrated over to the BLUT since last season - hopefully it's a one-season wonder and they can all slunk back to the land of crushed knees with the aromas of cannabis. The view is brilliant, can’t fault it, I was surrounded by statues. At the risk of defending the ref and getting stoned to death by you lot, he did add 7 minutes of added time which compensated for their time wasting...
The rest of his body of work was poor. Again, I'll be a dissenting voice and say he was poor for both sides. Billy was lucky to escape a red card, Leon's 3rd looked off side and he added 7 minutes when the home team were chasing the game. Fulham have every right to be pissed with him as well.
The man I fully blame for our loss was their manager who outcoached Wilder on the night and penetrated the space behind our wing backs again and again all night. Clever wanker!
Don't let his assistants off tonight either.
I can forgive being shit, we come to expect that, it's the total lack of consistency with it that's very irritating.
Until there is any kind of proper consequence, it will be forever this way.
Absolutely not to blame for the result, but they were poor.
Would be interesting - I think you'll be surprised at how little actual game time is playedYes. That's what's supposed to happen though, isn't it?
All the messing about, drawing bloody lines on the pitch with shaving foam (then not enforcing it anyway), lecturing players, waiting ages for throw ins and goal kicks, all the incidental shit that goes on in a game adds up.
My gut feeling is it adds up to more than the usual 1 - 7 mins added on whilst the ball is not in play.
Perhaps I should conduct an experiment with a stop watch at the next match.
Billy was very lucky the ref didn't send him off when he shoved his head into the Fulham players face. If that player had gone down like a sack of spuds, like they do these days, then Billy would have had no complaints. It was right in front of me and that Fulham player was hard done by getting a yellow. Yeah, the ref was crap but he cost us nowt last night.

The ref was always going to be more inclined to give decisions against us once the 'you're not fit to referee ' chants rang out. I know it shouldn't work like that, but I bet it does.
