Can you guarantee promotion even though you will have your hands tied behind your back, blindfolded and have a gagging order placed on you?

It appears this is what the club want the new manager to do?

Donny didn't have a "goal machine" (Paynter 13 goals, less than Blackman and only 1 more than Kitson). Neither did we have one when we last got promoted (Shipperly 11 goals). Just need to get a team that plays well consistently over the season.
