That's all Chris Wilder needs to find. Tall order.

Over to tufty n knill. Or titty and knoll as auto correct would have it.

If they can find that, back to backs I'm tellin ya.

John Marquis anyone? Deono came from Donny.

Omar Bogle or Danny Ward could be immense with our midfield and a bit of pace out wide. Both can play as a target man and both could partner Sharp and/or Lavery.

It's a start at least (shrugs shoulders)

Not sure about this ward youth.

Want our version of Callum Wilson

Need to find an Agana o partner him

Bogle could be the one. Or maybe there's a player out there that we don't know about that knoll and titty have their eye on..

Whatever. Next season the atmosphere will be back at the lane big time. Realistic expectations, team spirit and momentum.

If we don't do down well he happy, it's the first real chance for some people to really make their mark with everyone behind them.

COME ON YOU FUCKIN BASTARD RED AND WHITE CUNTING WIZARDS

The positive about Ward is that he has scored goals in a really, really poor Championship team. I think he would have a field day with better service and I happen to think that our current team would muller the current Millers team in a heartbeat, hence a better team behind him.
Bogle is younger though so maybe a better prospect to invest in.

Danny ward is a good shout too. Danny ward and Omar Bogle wibbledy wobbley wampionship.....

Wilders been watching Ward for a while hasn't he??
Been at games, I'm guessing for that reason!?

At the time though Brian Deane really came out of nowhere, And by the time we saw him doing the same things to the top teams (being an extremely awkward handful, and importantly, scoring goals against them) as he did against third and second division teams, we knew we had a player. He was an extremely important part of our success, such that it was (most successful period so far of my lifetime) under basset.

Maybe he's already here...

Utb

Lavery should be the first pick on the team sheet up top. He hasn't been given the No 9 shirt for no reason. He needs a pacy partner next season. Billy will be a bit part starter.I can see Lavery and Clarke working, but we MUST buy a goalscorer be that Ward or someone else.

Agree that Lavey has promise, if he stays fit. Reckon billy wanted a go when the opposition were knackered today. That'll be him next season.

We need some pace and power up top. Priority number one for the back2back assault.

How about John Marquis from Donny...he's scored a shed load this season. And CW had him on loan at Northampton, so he'll know all about him.

Mind you, what do I know? I always rated that Tonton Zola Mokouko...

I do think we should have gone heavier for Bogle before Wigan nipped in, when fans can see that he's not gonna lose a penny in value then a club needs to make a decent bid, like Connor coady, we all knew there was no risk cause he was only going to increase in value.. Bogle was the same.. missed the boat, or did wilder not fancy him.. I'm not questioning wilder, and we know he can spot a player.. we'll be reyt..

The good news is we're first out of the blocks, Bolton, Fleetwood, whoever will have to wait a while and Bolton may struggle with their iffy financial position.
Hopefully, Wilder has already identified targets and discussions have, or will soon, be happening about the budget. Let's hope the Prince has deep pockets.
