The new owners seem to mean business. It's been a revolution more than evolution. It is also the definitive end of the Wilder era. Despite the noise around Selles I'm reserving judgement. But give him a chance. He has the tools now. The owners have acted. We may as well all get on board HMS piss the league. Joking! Seriously though all these additions should transform the mood of the squad. Results will come. If we can build a momentum who knows how the season will go? Much more optimistic now.

Do they mean business? Seem to be flitting between different strategies and have assembled what (on the face of things) appears to be pretty unbalanced squad, with major deficiencies.

Call me a pessimist, but I feel this will end in tears.
I'd have to agree. Godfrey is a make shift right back, we're seriously lacking in wide areas and have far too many options in central defence and central midfield.

Think our best team is

Cooper
Godfrey McGuinness Tanganga Burrows
Blaster Matos
Ogbene Hamer Barry
Campbell

Alt - not necessarily this team but can arguably slot into the above...
Davies
Seriki Bindon Mee McCallum
Peck Soumare
Chong O'Hare One
Ings

With some left over: Zatterstrom, T Davies, Brooks, Cannon.

We need Blaster back.

This transfer window has been a mess. Credit the ownership that we have been busy this last week and they have spent some money, but it has felt like they have panicked. They have obviously changed course when it became apparent the AI stuff wasn’t working and perhaps they need bit of credit for that as well in terms of realising it. However whats done is done, and be it this manager (highly doubtful ) or likely the new one has 0 excuses with this squad. There is no reason with a proper set up they can’t finish top 6.

Pessimist. Blade. Same thing.

The owners have found the funds at the eleventh hour. Its been a strategic recruitment mess. Anyone on the outside looking in knows that. They have an intransigent manager who refuses to change, irrespective of the players that have been brought in. He is out of his depth. That is plain for all to see. Anyone witnessing the first five games knows it will not get better unless RS has an epiphany and changes formation and tactics. That looks unlikely. So after committing funds the Board have decisions to make and lessons to learn. Not least whether RS lasts beyond the Ipswich game. It will be a lot easier if a decision is taken to change the off field structure in light of the failings so far this season, irrespective of who comes into the hot seat on the assumption RS's days are numbered. A sporting Director is a must to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the next transfer window.

Excellent, constructive post Camden, but some of the negative tossers and their attitude to the club and Selles is unbelievable and appalling .The board have shown their commitment to the cause over the past 7 days, quality players have shown their belief in Selles by coming to the club with options from other clubs available. Either support the club in it's entirety or don't support at all

Not sure how.matos is ahead of soumare, or how barry gets in the first xi.

Other than that, probably agree.

Got to give credit to the board for this late splurge.

One concern is that we've signed plenty of CBs but not one "proper RB" which seems a bit short sighted
