At some point we have to take some pain to change the playing style to one which could adapt to premier league football better than we have done in recent times..

The changes being made are for the future, not for the here and now, try to see it as Jokanavic part two, but hopefully with the funds to buy the players that will be successful in the system theyre trying to change to..

Also, chopping and changing managers is a recipe for under achieving, just look at Watford..

No idea how to set up to defend AND create chances. Just one or the other. No idea of how to use and get the best out of the current squad before shaping it into something over time.

I can’t understand this falsehood and reverence for Jokanovic as though he was some mistreated and overly maligned puppy dog.
He was gash, useless, clueless.
He was used to much higher quality players and working with a team of coaches. He didn’t bring his coaching team to Blades, it was as if it was a last hurrah for a pay off. Look at what he did (or didn’t do) afterwards.

This pseudo nostalgic worship he gets because “he didn’t get backed by the board and the it’s the only reason he failed” is just lazy, tiresome nonsense. It’s a rewriting of history. We got 19 games of utter garbage (31% win percentage) before Hecky came in during November and got a fecking great tune out of the same squad.
