80% of the league seems to have strengthened but we have weakened our team yet again. From what was a solid top 6 champ team, we have dismantled and replaced with unknown random players and academy players. Criminal yet again to be starting season much weaker than we finished.

This current team & style, would get absolutely battered by last seasons wilders team.

It's a worry the hindsight wasn't addressed prior to these deals.

COH and James Bord’s costly gamble hasn’t worked. They are allegedly “exploring the possibility” of bringing back Wilder. If this is true it will at least demonstrate a degree of humility and an acceptance that they understand a lot less about the Beautiful Game than they gave themselves credit for.

Wilder’s return would be relatively seamless, which is a huge advantage with the season underway. COH should also be very nervous about their ability to identify the right replacement if it’s not Wilder.

The next priority is a DoF - someone with a proven track record in the role and geared towards the data-driven model that COH want to pursue.

Make these changes and we might look back on a temporary blip rather than systemic failure blights the club for years to come.
