Wilder is a controlled freak that’s why no other club come running for his services. After leaving us the other clubs didn’t want that type of manager who spits out his dummy and walks out through the back door. I honestly think Warnock had something to do with Wilder getting the Boro job. Warnock must have told Gibson that he was leaving on Saturday and told Gibson to appoint Wider. It gets me how it was all done . Wilder must have known about it before he was appointed on the Sunday .Wilder again telling lies to make himself look good.I hate him now and I will not be singing his phrases on New Year’s Day, totally the opposite

If true then it's more than likely he isn't averse to a DOF, just the one PA was trying to put in place.

But, but, he was running the show single handedly. I read it on here. If he’s annoyed it should be at the Wilderettes who insisted that’s how he did it.

The positive is that according to Kübler-Ross we should now be close to “acceptance” -
Particularly given responsibility (blame ?): has now been levelled at (nearly) all ‘targets:-
Chairman (previous)
Manager (s)
Playing Staff
Recruitment
(Previous) Player sales
Selection
Investment (excessive &/or historically inadequate)
‘Small Town’ mentality
Injuries
Supporters (lack of)
Pandemic
Desso (?)
Rainbow scarves
Local press (sic)
Local press (sic) roof headers

By my reckoning all that remains to hold culpable is the fall of The Raj ; women drivers & Dean Hammond.

Oh & the inherent unfairness of the loyalty points system - albeit the team / club are well on the way to resolving that particular dilemma by their on field ‘performances’

🚨 walked out of back door 🚨

New Year's Day is going to embarrassing on and off the pitch, it could very messy and ugly. What a mess.

"There has been a lot of talk about me absolutely wanting to run everything - it is complete nonsense," he said. "I just wanted to work with good people who had the same vision and ideas and ethics of how I see a club running.

I don’t want to run everything but I want everyone around me running things how I want them run.

Post of the day, if not the year

Extremely unlikely and completely at odds with what Warnock has said. He said he was extremely disappointed to be told by Gibson on the morning of the game that he was no longer the manager. He agreed to go ahead and take the team at West Brom.

He walked in through the out door, out door, he wore a Middlesbrough beret, and if it was warm he couldn’t stay no more.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good mump.

This doesn't seem right to me , I'd say it's more accurate that warnock was pissed off about the whole situation

Listening to NW on TS just now it's clear he had no input in Wilder replacing him.

I'm no great fan of NW as a person but I think he deserved better than a phone call on Saturday morning to effectively say you can fuck off after the match today.

Said he'd heard whispers about the clamour for Wilder to have the job. Not sure which way he meant or if it was mutual admiration.
