The Lundstram sub

By far and away Wilders weakest aspect of management, his substitutions are set in stone most of the time like they were on manager games, he wasted the Ampadu substitution too, baffling!
I think Ampadu was injured wasn't he? But yeah, even in previous seasons his substitutions have been questionable.

Yes he was Ftpe, I meant the fact he brought another CB on when we were supposed to be chasing the game, especially when he brings Bash off for a forward thinking player all the time anyway when we are losing, when Ampadu came off it was the perfect time to go to 4 at the back and bring an attacking player on, it was a terrible sub.

Exactly, he went to four at the back about five minutes later and as you say swapped Basham for Brewster?

Baffling decision 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was laughable at the time, almost like he’s lost the plot, everybody knew what was coming and he didn’t let anyone down and duly delivered his mandatory substitution.

Another way to look at it is he brought on one of lasts season's top scorers and our midfielder with an eye for goal.

Burke sub was more obvious but you can't just chuck striker after striker on when West Ham are dropping deep.

😂 😂 😂

Reyt eye for goal he’s got, missed pen and about 3 golden opportunities so far this season. I’d rather put Foderingham in midfield.

Still getting the opportunies though isn't he, more than any other midfielder we've got. 5 goals last season is a good return.

Missing one chance every other game doesn’t justify a place in the team

Hopefully he will be gone in a few weeks and then this scenario will not happen again.

Sorry to be harsh on Lunny after last season but this calendar year he seems to be just taking the piss. I'm sick of him getting the ball, stopping any available move and then passing backwards.

He can FUCK OFF. Lazy piece of shit milking this club dry the lazy cunt.

He’s doing what 99% of the population would do.

He’s currently the lowest paid player at the club and understands that he’s not going to be a regular.
He’s not made loads of money in the game yet as he’s generally been a lower division player.

We’ve offered him a big pay rise (probably £20K + bonuses) but rumours in London are that Moyes wants him at West Ham....reckon he’ll get £60K.
Even if he never plays for West Ham....that contract makes him a millionaire....let’s be honest...it’s tempting.

Rumours.

I'd be extremely surprised if he ends up at West Ham.

The offer was putting him in the top 4 earners at the club. He's not happy with that.

The Lundstram saga should never have been allowed to develop - CW should have got him out of the Club in the summer , even if on a free - but to actually play him is a mistake , it gives the player chance to take the piss.

Absolutely, I'm not disputing that. I'm saying he's coming abject, dire and turgid for us since turning the extension and pay rise down. He should be nowhere near the first 11 when his body language suggests he's already left.

Be careful what you wish for Lundstram because you're not that good pal.

The squad is unfortunately not deep enough to exclude him. He is solid defensively, can run box-to-box and still creates chances, unlike most other midfielders.
