Seems to me we won the game with a set piece move from the training ground. Mceverley taking a corner was noteworthy, and then Adkins confirmed it in his interview. Refreshing to see....this is the third division.

Think he would give an option of a tricky player. Even billy with his distinct lack of pace was turning players. Now you know Diego likes to play in his preferred position. Stop being nasty to the lad....
Seriously, I'm not sure he has any more pace than Sparky. I've yet to see it if he has.

Weve fucked it they have got nathan byrneI like the way Adkins uses subs as a positive, the players he brought off weren't having particularly bad games but he saw that fresh legs in those positions could bring success and it did with Macnulty's beauty.
The massive plus for me today was that the defence looked pretty solid - certainly a lot better than last season. I think David Edgar looks a class act at this level and could well be the most important part of the jigsaw. Great signing. Once we scored I felt fairly confident (unlike last season) that we would not concede.Weve fucked it they have got nathan byrne, the new diego maradona
What a good signing Edgar isAs a McNulty sceptic I have to give Sparky credit for an instant and decisive strike. Good goal with an assist from Billy.
Well done to JCR, Jose, Bash and the Kieran Brothers, who were excellent at full-back. Did I see David Edgar smoking a cigar and having a glass of red at one point?....

Baxter's completion rate on forwards passes was about 10% today.
Byrne could be going to Burnley apparentlyWeve fucked it they have got nathan byrne, the new diego maradona
I thought we were very poor first half it was like last season all over again, a little better second half and still won easily in the end. One thing is for sure we will have harder games than Blackpool, still need another Cb and a keeper too.
You might have guessed by now I don't rate Howard too much I think the guy is an accident waiting to happen a back up keeper at best confirmed by the number of clubs he has played for where he never held onto the #1 spot. We can do so much better and must if we are serious about building a team to get into and stay in the championship.Howard made 3 mistakes in the first 15 mins, letting a ball run through the six yard box then berating Wallace for not dealing with it all he needed to do was catch it. A few minutes later he dallied with a kick which was close to being charged down it ended up going low up field but could easily have gone to a Blackpool player, a few minutes later got the ball stuck between his feet and had to rush the clearance but after that he was OK to be fair and made a good save in the second half.
Swindon will be a real test. I think we might be better placed to judge the team after next weekend.
The old Bassett corner put in an appearance.
Well done today Blades.
Three more points and nice to Sharp and McNulty grab the goals...
UTB!
Ha, southern ponse. I guarantee they won't.I was on the Gillingham forum the other day and noticed one of their contributors has noticed this thread and has this to say:
Well after schooling them on day one and all the hand wringing that entailed, they are now back to being arrogant XXXXXXs. Just been on their MB and there is talk of the "juggernaut" up and running. They also really think they could realistically sign Dack. I really, really hope we finish above them.
I wonder if they know the difference between arrogant and optimistic?I was on the Gillingham forum the other day and noticed one of their contributors has noticed this thread and has this to say:

Why are Gillingham fans trawling our MB? And Liam, why are you on their's? Looking for info on Dack?
Tbh, I can't see him coming to us when I'm sure a few championship clubs would be interested so that's probably fair comment but they do seem to have a chip on their shoulder about our 'arrogance'.
