Utterly sublime today and a joy to watch when in full flow. A rare combination of speed of thought and intelligence but with technique and ability to see it through. If we get the right players around him (Norwood, Couttsy etc) he’s a platinum grade footballer.

Been fantastic since Norwood arrived. Like the weight of having to carry the midfield has been lifted from him and we’re seeing the true John Fleck again. Top performance today.

And whilst i hope it’s with us, he absolutely deserves his chance at the top league. I will say this though, if Brooks is £12m, then admiring suitors can start their bidding at £25m. As I say though, let’s hope he does it in the famous red and white stripes.

He was utterly superb today, as was Bash, Sharp, Norwood, Duffy, Freeman.....to be honest I could go on. Noone played less than brilliantly.

To be fair, Bannans a very good player and, dare I say it, one of a very few pig players I'd quite happily take off their hands .

Why would you take him? Our midfield compliment is full to bursting. He would perhaps be above Lenny and Lunny but he'd be certainly be a bench warmer.

I agree . With Coutts back he's on the bench . Not a bad player as back up though .
