First their fans said they were “the best”
Then when we became the best, it was “yeh but we have better home attendance”
Then when our home gates were better, it was “home attendances don’t count we have better away support”

Wilder spelt out a few home truths in his post match interview.
We are so far ahead of them in so many areas both on and off the pitch but it’s not given to you, handed on a plate. It’s been achieved by hard work.

They’ve got no rely to these facts…..so….so…so…..I know what? let’s says “we are the classiest club”….you couldn’t make it up.
But they did! 😂

For the 2 biggest clubs in South Yorkshire, the gap between them is staggering.

Revenue: Not sure where to find revenue figures, but given their financial problems, I bet our revenue is significantly higher, including player sales and squad value.

Academy: when you look at other multi team cities (Manchester, London, Birmingham), the successful academy players are usually spread out between academies, not the case in Sheffield.

Wednesday - P Charles (the GK), B Cademarteri (2nd loan at Lincoln?), C Dawson (Rotherham), J Wildsmith (Derby I think?), G Hirst (Leicester then Ipswich permanent), might be more but these are the only ones I can think of.

Blades - Arblaster, A Brooks, Seriki, Peck, Oné, Marsh, Freckleton, RND (all United), Osula (Newcastle), Jebbison (Bournemouth), Ndiaye (Marseille then Everton), Lankshear (Spurs), D Brooks (Bournemouth), roughly around the same timeframe, there are others I've missed.

Like I said, there might be other Wednesday Academy players that I've missed, but there are far more players coming from our Academy than Wednesday's, plus we're usually picking up young players from other academies (Baptiste, Oné, Peck, Beattie etc) yet I can't recall Wednesday doing this in the last few years.

Objects thrown at Wendy fans below. The Barry Bannan chant. Etc. Are we classy too?
Throwing objects at a football match - no matter who throws them or at whom - is inexcusable.

We should have better things to do than sing about Chloe Bannan but the bottom line is that she has repeatedly been recorded denigrating United and some of our players. Like it or not, that makes her a bit of a target. It should also be pointed out that the song about her didn't suggest that she'd been unfaithful to old Bazza Boi.

On the other hand, Wednesdayites who sing about Wilder's daughter should have a long hard look at themselves. That is also inexcusable.
