Reading the arguments set out by UTB limited in the ongoing litigation shows McCabe feels a budget of £2 million pounds is needed to ensure continued success. Im a big fan of McCabe and tend to defend him wherever possible but that is frankly ridiculous. Im not saying we need 4 £10 million players but £2million to bring in two strikers, a creative midfielder and possibly a centre half is ridiculous. Lets not forget this is McCabe best case scenario if the Price does decide to cough up.

On a side not McCabe appears to have dropped a bollock when he let the prince invest on the terms he did. I don't doubt McCabe wants whats best for club but he's been screwed over here. Perhaps he did not pay the going rate for the best legal representatives when the deal was first constructed?

I'm not reading it again but is it an additional £2m?

As I understand it , it's the £2.5 m discussed in the earlier case which was to be made up of £1.25m from each of the 2 parties -

"46. It is based upon £10m of funding being provided by the owners for the year to June 2019, with the first £2.5m of owner funds being injected by July 2018 and the last tranche by 31st January 2019."

SUL’s position is that the owners need to provide £2.5m of funding to Blades by 30th June 2018 to avoid insolvency and preserve the company.

If you need to know where the £4 mill from the first instalment on brooks went, take a guess..

I wonder how much the 3 clubs who got promoted spent to get up, and the 3 in the season before that?

My guess would be a fair amount more than CW will be getting.

Still, ‘Think Blythe Spartans’ - that was the quote right?

That must be a doctored document. £2m are you fucking serious? Surely there's a zero missing?

It's not gone any where yet.
McCabe wanted to put fresh money into the kitty ( and tried to force HRH to match him.)
HRH refused and said the Brooks money will do the trick.
Not to say there's not also an 'agenda' but that's the state of play.

Could it be an additional 2 million on top of what we spent last year? That would surely make more sense.

We spent about £5million last season didn't we?

I hope it's an additional £2million.

I don't know. Maybe 25k avg gates, sky tv coverage about 12 times, finishing 10th in the league and selling a player for £12m + some investment from the owners.

Even with all of that (minus the Brooks money, obviously) the club has been losing money year on year, you do know that don’t you?
