Have to admit I wasn't expecting dubious starts from West Ham and Norwich but glad about it!

Up the undefeated Blades!

TBF, on paper this looks like a strong league, especially considering the players that West Ham and Wolves have retained (Bowen, Jimenez etc) but it feels like no one (including us) have really got going yet.

Who knows, maybe a month from now we might start seeing certain teams being a lot better than they are right now.

Just to be pedantic... Wolves have signed Jimenez, not retained him.

I just think we lack athletic players. The actual age of our team and indeed squad is young. I think only Bamford (32), Rothwell (31), Phillips (30) and Doherty (34) are over 30. Only one player in our whole squad is really knocking on.

25 or under : We have Faxon, Curtis, Seriki, Peck, One, Cannon, Burrows, Zatterstrom, Donovan, Baptiste, Marsh, McCallum, Mcguinness.

26 or under: Campbell, Chong, Shackleton.

The problem for me is too much dead weight on the books and not enough players with stand out athleticism. This needs addressing in the remainder of the window. It'll be tough with low cost loans.

I am not even sure its an athletic thing. I remember watching Baptiste in one of the earlier pre season games, the speed he played his passes was just quicker.

I do think its a tactical thing to play slower.

In that starting 11 (and Cooper) I think only Rothwell and our 2 CB should be classed as not being able to play with a bit more speed.
