Not the result, not the game. I wasn't nervous of losing at any stage of that. Looked like a professional team playing against part timers and it was good to see a few of the bit part players step up. What was lucky was the challenge on Brew Dog, absolute fucking shocker that and had his standing leg not slipped on the soft ground he'd be in hospital tonight with a broken leg.

They were a bunch of dirty bastards and that should have been a straight red. Gooch, or whatever his name was made four or five fouls worthy of yellow cards but he must have been the referees sweetheart because he got away with the lot.

Terrible referee who got worse as the game went on. Thank fuck we didn't get a few injuries tonight.

Brewster is a lucky boy. His foot luckily went from under him, if it had been planted that would have snapped easily.

Nasty nasty challenge.

Dirtiest bunch of twats we have played in a while, and their supporters were shocking for booing a guy who has just been tackled from behind and later stamped on.

I doubt it will happen, but I would piss myself if they wen't down on the last day.

Could see it was a bad one from the broadcast, how the fuck the line-man didn't call it is beyond me. Utter shameful challenge and Brewster is lucky to walk out that game after two potential leg breakers.

That stamp looked deliberate. Bunch of hammer throwers.

Both tackles could have both been reds

I counted at least 4 studs up tackles from Stoke, plus the blatant shove that should have been a penalty (not even close to shoulder to shoulder, arm clearly used)

Deserve to go down.

Despicable challenges but is anyone surprised they weren’t correctly punished? Not the reason we missed out on autos but the refs have been a fucking disgrace all season. I mean the amount of shit Burnley got away with it makes you wonder… debacle at Coventry, any game with Sam Allison etc etc

Stoke were a set of dirty bar stewards who took full advantage of a pathetic referee. I'm all for letting the game flow but some of those challenges were career threatening. Oh and how was that shove on Seriki not a penalty? Stoke fans ought to be embarrassed booing our players receiving attention from the physio. And to think some suggested Mark Robins to replace Wilder, you can maybe see why he is becoming something of a journeyman manager, poor from Stoke tonight hope they somehow get relegated even if it is now doubtful thanks to the pigs.

Further proof of why retrospective refereeing should be introduced primarily to target bad, malicious fouls, the one where Brewster was stamped on was terrible as it could have been avoided. Diving is the other thing which should be retrospectively ruled which should have included Campbell attempt to cheat

A leopard doesn't change its spots. Their fans are still celebrating Shawcross breaking Aaron Ramsey's leg and their players are still a bunch of thugs.

With VAR that would've been a straight red today followed by a 3 game suspension.

We must have watched different games. The consensus in Stoke is that the ref let your lot get away with murder.

Maybe it was just a spirited match with tasty challenges going in from both sides
Maybe your lot have got selective eyesight.
Was not bothered about you one way or the other prior to today’s match but now I hope you get relegated. No place on a football pitch for a player stamping on a fellow professionals leg!

With VAR Stoke would have been down to nine men.

I can understand not seeing the challenges properly in the ground, it's your job to get on the referees back.

Surely after watching those back you can see two red cards and potentially a penalty?

Stamp? Is this about Burger on Brewster? It was a fairly routine late challenge, give over. Maybe looked worse on the replay. I haven’t seen the Wilmot one to be fair

Really? What exactly did we "get away with"?
I saw: Pearson injuring himself taking out Souza; numerous bookable offences from Gooch & Burger unpunished; two potential red card tackles on Brewster within a minute; and Seriki's foot clipped in the box with no penalty given.
Kieffer gave a bit back but that's always been his game.
