Stamp? Is this about Burger on Brewster? It was a fairly routine late challenge, give over. Maybe looked worse on the replay. I haven’t seen the Wilmot one to be fair
So you come on this Sheff Utd Forum to comment on tackles/fouls that you haven't even seen. 🙄

Really? What exactly did we "get away with"?
I saw: Pearson injuring himself taking out Souza; numerous bookable offences from Gooch & Burger unpunished; two potential red card tackles on Brewster within a minute; and Seriki's foot clipped in the box with no penalty given.
Kieffer gave a bit back but that's always been his game.

There was a period 1st half where you seemed to be going into the back of our players every 2 minutes without punishment.

The Burger one was a standard yellow max.

Anyway, different perspectives 😉 wish you the best for your playoff bid

Sheffield United. Play-offs. Never ends well. Maybe this time 😁

We must have watched different games. The consensus in Stoke is that the ref let your lot get away with murder.

Maybe it was just a spirited match with tasty challenges going in from both sides

No mate, we watched the same game, but you obviously watched through a mist of heavy bias. I played centre half for many years and could be a right nasty bastard when I wanted to be. That lunge at Brewsters standing leg was a shithouse trick and the kid who did it should be on the blower to Brewdog tonight offering his apologies. Even more so because this is a kid who's lucky to still be playing after a pretty horrendous history of injuries.

Like I said, I'm all for full blooded challenges but that was out of order. If it was one of ours I'd hold my hands up, you should watch it back and do the same.

Anytime I see Brewster go down or anything, my heart drops. Lad has gone through so much.

Sounds like this is the main one and I missed it so fair enough. If it’s as bad as it sounds I’ll say so

Firstly
Any oppo fan that makes an account on here is already indicating they’re a bit weird
Secondly
Stoke are crap, we’re in poor form yet our reserve team walked over you, you’re a nothing club languishing in the championship despite massively wealthy owners, ask yourselves as fans why… goodnight

Brewster is a lucky boy. His foot luckily went from under him, if it had been planted that would have snapped easily.

Nasty nasty challenge.
I'm surprised he stayed on, more so after a second challenge a few minutes later.

Was it Wilmot again for that second one, stood on the back of Brewster's leg where he pointed out that it had ripped a hole in his sock.

Stoke should have been down to 9 men, the tackles on brewster in the first half were thuggish enough, the one's in the second half were career ending and the referee missing them tackles/assaults wants sacking. For a professional footballer to do that to a fellow player says alot about him.

Bang to rights mate, I’m a weirdo posting about my crappy nothing club in an obscure corner of the internet.

Good to know you’re way above that sort of behaviour though 😉

A fairly routine late challenge?? Are you on the wind up? Watch it again. He deliberately stamps on Brewster’s leg.
Sky Sports commentators all say it was a red card…but, of course, Stoke fans can’t see anything wrong.
Pathetic.

I saw multiple replays and didn’t think much of it. Late, trod on his ankle. Didn’t look great on the replay but it happens. Yellow card.

Dirty set of cloggers are Stoke & there seemed to be a lack of control or even an intent in a lot of their challenges to play the man not the ball.
Gooch on half a dozen occasions.
Mcallum getting a leg in the head.
The many challenges on Brewster by half their side.

What was lucky for me though was that Hamer was in the stand & not on the pitch. In my mind, he’d have either picked up an injury or a red card last night.

Yeah Gooch should have had enough yellow cards to be sent off he got away with it all game, I'd be saying Stoke were out to cause injuries that surely has to come from the manager if they were looking for a reaction from our players they didn't get one. I thought we did well to keep our discipline and concentrate on playing football.

I like to get opinions on here from opposing fans but you are talking shit mate.

Just stop posting on this thread because the 2 tackles on Brewster were malicious.

If that’s how you want your team to play their football then I hope you’re happy.

Normal football fans don’t like it.

Absolutely right. Forums are places where fans are perfectly capable of falling out with each other anyway, but supporters of other teams popping up on here (or on any other club's forum) fall into two categories:

i) Boorish WUMs who mistake witlessness for banter
ii) Obsequious Uriah Heep types overdoing the fake humility

I have no idea why they do it.

I think our visitor may be the co-commentator on Radio Stoke though, whoever that was he was equally clueless despite having access to the TV monitor.
