The Coventry game we were excellent, every player knew their job, knew they had to be at it and we were quick, slick and deserved the win. Contrast that to the game today and with the same starting eleven we were slow, sloppy on the ball, even worse off the ball and came away with fuck all against one of the league's rubbing rags. One win in nine apparently, make that two in ten now because we didn't do much more than go through the motions.

They were awful, clumsy, slow, just a really poor side yet we let them have the second balls and we gifted them a goal with defending that would have raised a laugh in the pub league. We weren't even outfought because there was no fight in us. They must be having a pint tonight wondering what the fuck all the hullabaloo about Sheffield United is. All they did were the basics, and not particularly well but well enough to beat our lot who looked completely clueless.

There's funny results at this stage of the season but that one today was so fucking annoying because they didn't have to win it, we rolled over and lost it. We're still second, we're in the driving seat but we have to be at it or we'll fuck ourselves over. Play with energy and confidence and we're more than good enough, go with that attitude that we had today and play off heartbreak beckons once more.

Sheffield United eh? Do we ever do owt the easy way.

After last night’s shit-show, this post seems even more appropriate.
Arrogance shown from the manager last night, as in “I’ll show ‘em that 11 can win games of football” but it backfired.
As a result of that arrogance, confidence seems to be leaking out of us - the fans especially but also it seems the players who at times were at 6’s & 7’s last night.
Creating disconnect at any time of the season is bad enough but now is when we need to all be together the most. And instead, the cracks are getting wider.
I heard more anti-Wilder stuff shouted last night than ever before. I hope he heard it & has enough about him to do something to restore confidence for the final 5.

Thing is Saturday at Oxford was bad, we were terrible to be honest but going with the same eleven against Millwall was fucking stupid. We have players who looked completely off it Saturday and who could probably have done with a break. Sidi, Diaz, Brewdog and Robbo should have set yesterdays game out, we had replacements and we didn't use them.

I like Wilder, think he's done some great stuff for us but every now and then he gets it completely wrong and I think you're right, that's down to arrogance.

We've just lost two of the most winnable games of the season and we've got it all to do now. Can we do it? Big ask on the last two showings but we'll see, we're more than good enough to win all five games but if we turn up with owt like the wrong attitude then it'll be hello play off heartbreak my old friend...sung by a big, fucking fat lady.

If we finish third, 1 point off second place, will Wilder blame it on the 2 point deduction or the 6 points he dropped against Oxford and Milwall? 🤔

Win one of those and we'd have been top by 1 point. Win both and we'd have been top with a 4 point gap.

He can't blame the 2 point deduction for his s**t show.

Tuesday night was arrogance, pure arrogance and it may just have cost us promotion, and this is what the owners might need to reflect on. A manager who put his own ego first and may have blown a place in the Premier League as a result.

When we beat Wednesday he couldn't wait to come on shooting his mouth off. As soon as we lost on Saturday he became defensive as he can't admit when he's wrong. I genuinely believe that he'd be more humble if he wasn't a fan and he somehow thinks that being a fan makes him impervious to criticism.
