That was cruel

That was very cruel, we should take a lot of heart from that performance. I thought at half time, if we were to get a draw out of this I'd still be happyish in the sense that we'd shown a bit of form again and played well. But that was before we battered them and defended so well, and they scored in injury time. The offered very little.

It's hard to take that when we've out played Bristol, Villa and Cardiff at home and been outdone by late goals in all of them, very cruel.

Absolutely gutted. We should've beaten Brentford & we should have hammered them today. I'm gutted that we don't have 6 points from this weekend and at least 4.

Proud of our performance we looked class just upset but hey ho we still in there

Had enoough chances to put that to bed
Gutted

Disappointing to let it slip so late, especially after playing so well. But, on the positive side, before kick off most of us would not have considered a draw to be a bad result.

Also, we are now on our longest unbeaten sequence of league games this season and appear to have regained some of our first half of the season intensity.

It was coming.

You can't miss that many chances during a match and not expect to get punished.

The way we created chances up front tonight, we deserved so much more. We can't bemoan the manager much there, he had the side set up well and playing amazing football.

Brizzle, Brum, Villa and now Cardiff. Teams who we have thoroughly outplayed at home and in any universe would have 12 points. Instead we have 2.

Bloody annoying isn't it.

Sick to death of not getting what we deserve.

It's going to cost us a play off place.

Ipswich, Brentford, Cardiff. 3 points, should've been 9.

The only games I can think of where we have got something when we didn't deserve it is maybe Forest and Brentford at home. Neither were as one sided as that though. It's so frustrating because we obviously should be in the top 6 in terms of the games we have dominated but that's how it goes when you lack quality in the final third.

Notice how we've not once done anyone in the last minute this season. Yet we've been done 3 times, at home.

It's probably a quality thing.

It was cruel, but it was cruel when we beat Leicester 2-1 and Leeds by the same score in 2002-2003. Warnock teams play the full 90 minutes.
Painful to admit but true. Too many games where we don't know how to close. The Donaldson time wasting was fine as an idea but only executed half heartedly

Or it could be we don't know tactically how to see out a game type of thing, wrong decision making.

You have to commit to a way of finishing a game. Either go for the kill, all out defend or time waste. We seem to get stuck in the middle somewhere

I can see why there are no British referees on the list for the World Cup. Oliver is supposed to be one of the best and yet he missed a blatant penalty - not aided by his linesman - and a blatant dive.

Agree with that too.

Maybe the biggest quality related factor is that we're only one goal ahead in the first place. We're wasteful. Then someone like Snodgrass scores a worldie.

Spot on, tactically we are inept at times in being able to see out a winnable game, wrong decision making. If you make a decision to tactically change the side then have a game plan, there doesn't seem to be one, like you say we are stuck in the middle. A like for like sub in the 88th minute? not changing anything up just a like for like change? If Evans was blowing out his arse I would understand it, he wasn't he had a quality game as did the other midfield two, those three in the middle were the reason we dominated this game.

Yes they went for attacking subs, started pushing Bamba up etc etc.. so we take off our most defensive midfielder? stupid.

Clarke put in a right shift and had a great game but he should have been taken off if Wilder felt he couldn't control his impulse to make a sub. Clarke off, extra midfielder on, just 1 up top, lets defend with an extra body in there... No, keep two up top, do a unnecessary like for like sub in a crucial position, made no sense.

We have dropped so many points by not be able to see out games, Wilder needs criticizing imo. Yes Wilder is the best thing that has happened to us in years, yes he is the man for the job, but that doesn't mean he is not above criticism when he makes a mistake. That sub was a mistake and takes away 3 pts from an outstanding team performance.

We have looked a little naive a couple of times. And the reluctance to go one up top is confusing sometimes. I get that you want the ball to stay up the other end but sometimes an extra body in your half can help
