Let's put this to bed.

Is it a major thing,
Is it a minor thing,
is it a non existent thing.

This is anonymous, so please answer truthfully.

I was just walking down London Road one day on my way to Chinos when Kevin McCabe dragged me into a car and took me to the Lane. The footwells were just stuffed full of kids, some were probably disabled. We all got put through turnstiles, Id forgot my cat was in my coat pocket and they counted him as well.

I truthfully answered 'No' but when I first came to Sheffield as an 18 year old, I used to get into Hillsborough with a new found friend and we used to crouch and get through the turnstile as 15 year olds - he had a beard 😀

Don't use Chino's unless you want to be sick!

I don’t even bother paying, just squeeze through the turnstiles.

I voted no but but did have DifferentClass distract a Just Eat delivery boy making a delivery to Gus long enough for me to stow away in his basket and enter the ground. Smelt of kebabs all game but all those who stand with me will tell you that's an improvement.

So do the females, have beards 😏

I reckon there are 100’s of Adults who use a concession season ticket. The two light system on the turnstiles doesn’t always work and in my experience they are very rarely monitored by the stewards anyway.

In today’s technological age it really shouldn’t be beyond the wit of man to install a system that indicated the specific ticket category used, as Junior, Adult or Senior?

Evidently the club don’t seem to be unduly concerned about it, make zero effort to Police it so until they do, it will continue and they will have to take the financial hit.

I have a mate who’s used them frequently in the past but he lives and works in London now and hasn’t been since before the pandemic.

If you asked any club this, the spread would be similar.

The pigs got all uppity around the Warnock PL season when we got rid of turnstile operators and some started to chance it.

Not sure what their home ends are like, but they still have turnstile operators on the away end... 20y later.

I had a mate who bragged about using a concession ticket. it was funny watching him trying to get tickets for away games when were doing well. He'd have been in the top loyalty points bracket if he wasn't such a tight twat. 😂

Theres a few that do it, the cost of living and the cost of games make normal ticket prices out of reach for some. But I wouldn't imagine it's widespread.

I know a few people who got disability concession tickets by any means necessary because they wouldn't be able to afford to go to games otherwise. Beyond the prem and in the championship in particular, I bet it happens everywhere.

I've also known people sneak in on kids tickets because there was one going spare, because why pat for a ticket if your mates son can't make the game.

Last season I went in with my sons Junior season card and he then followed me with my Adult one. (I carried both in my wallet and just gave him any). You know what happened?

Nothing really, it beeped and we walked through the turnstile and proceeded to our seats. Oops, I guess? I'm a terrible person.
