This is why u can't just throw kids in , it is an unbelievable chance for any professional footballer to play a colleague in, it is not even a difficult pass , just a bit of composure and we are in on goal absolutely clean through and more than likely 2-0

Think we can cut the kid some slack. He's playing in possibly the most important game of his career thus far in front of 28k.

Mistakes like that will happen as he learns the game, thought he looked reasonably lively. We need to be giving him regular minutes between now and the end of the season.

Agree with this.

Fast as fuck and on another day he will take his chance and make that pass. I’d rather have Jebbo coming on than Mcburnie.

He got into position to influence the game. This is all about learning.

He did well to peal away at the back stuck earlier where the keeper made a decent stop.

Let's not pretend the senior players weren't turning the ball over like a hot potato in the first half.

I thought he got a bit better as the game went on. It would have helped if Hecky had given him some minutes in the previous games

He's pushing and causing their defence to shit themselves. He did that one crap ball.
Get a life.
Yep, closed them down with real pace and intention, they were really hurrying and making mistakes playing out from the back because of him. Suppose we could always go back to McBurnie half heartedly closing down defenders, with no pace or any real intentions.

One bad pass. Yes it could possibly be said that it impacted the result (no guarantees MGW would have finished it anyway), but Egan, Davies, Fleck, RND, Norwood, Berge, MGW and Billy all had MULTIPLE poor passes all night, so let's not have a pop at the teenager who's lacking game time and experience for making one mistake.

I'd definitely argue the aforementioned bunch and their shocking passing overall had a much larger bearing on the game than Jebbo's one bad pass.

One thing I’d say for those fans that just want us to ‘give the younguns a run out’ tonight probably showed the difference in level. Seriki struggled & Jebbison is raw, we’ll get the best results from the old guard. I worry that the owners will go down this path too & it’s not the right one
And 19 year old Johnson for Forest looked class again

He was shit when he came on. Don’t give a fuck if you’re a youth. Don’t play shit!! Didn’t he lose his man for their winner? Hard learning curve I’m afraid for the kid but these are the levels.

Also ^^ Fleck. Worst player on the pitch by a country mile

This is why he should've been given the last 20 mins against Swansea so he learns, 4-0 up cruising give him 20 mins no let's chuck him into a high pressure game.. 2 poor management decisions, BUT 3 phases of play cost us 3points, that pass from Jebbo needed to be more cool headed hence giving him time on the pit h v Swansea as stated, then the miss from jebbo should've scored or squared to mcburnie would he have scored fuck knows then the pathetic attempt by mcburnie to keep the ball in the corner. 3 game changing phases of play that have cost us taking all 3 points.
