He was poor tonight but when a lot of the good things we do come through him normally. Jebbo did ok though when do it was aimed more at your criticism of him. We gave the ball away far too easily tonight and it wasn’t just Norwood

The midfield was shocking, as I’ve said on a previous thread Fleck has had the worst game I’ve ever seen him have in a United shirt.
I wasn’t being too over critical of Jeb but he wasn’t great, and I don’t get the notion of soft soaping a youngster because he is “young”
This is the big leagues now, 30k on Sky at home to a big team. These are the levels and players needs to step up. No room for sentiment.

No I though his contribution to the game was ok to good regardless of his age, his closing down was much more effective than mcb has been this season and he got in 2 great positions in 15 mins, just because he fucked up one pass doesn’t make the rest shit

But yes I do think young players on 1/4 the wages playing their first few games or less get more slack

So I think your post was shit but Jebbo did ok

Looking in wrong direction there pal. Leaders on the park see that game out tonight, stray too far from the basics and that's when you get trouble, ie concede injury time goals. He took Sharp and Norwood off and we were left with one, at a push organiser, in Egan, that showed on that final corner. Three proper leaders in a team and that's seen off. He left us wide open especially taking Norwood off and putting light weight Sander as the central one in midfield. Ten minutes before taking Norwood off it was crying out for Berge to be taken off, he did ok in the advanced midfield position but you could see he was knackered and should be allowed no where near centre mid again.

He's one we've missed too.

When Hecky has been looking to rest players he's a great one to bring in without reducing noticably the effectiveness of the team.

If Baldock is back, he's probably got a chance to give a long overdue rest to Norrington-Davies, who had a decent spell and has dropped off the last two matches.

Not dragged anybody into anything I've just noted 3 phases of play that have cost us all 3 points, could also have noted the poor defending from the corner that we got a warning about from earlier when they hit the crossbar.

what stopped us taking 3 points was forest scoring a goal ,,,they missed other chances
funny how that happens across football but only our players get continually blamed

WTF are u going on about numb nuts.. Have I said anything about his management regards the full 90mins against Swansea? He could've given jebbo 20 mins against Swansea ease him in when we're cruising not chuck him into a tense pressurised game like last night, so yes for me them 2 choices are bad management choices.. Obviously forest's goal stops us taking 3 points but events leading upto the goal are 3 bad decisions that could've settled the game via goals or seeing out the game. Divvy

hindsights wonderful doubt 20 minutes in a game thats over will teach him much
the 20 minutes or so v forest will teach him more , all players make errors
man city only beat posh 2-0 and mis placed loads of vital passes from players on millions a month

crucifying him for one mistake doesnt help him at all
but he will only ever improve with full games

I thought he looked like a 1 trick pony and his penalty was laughable. Dives a lot as well
Wasnt his best game. His pace is his asset and when he cant exploit it he lacks skill and guile. He may develop that. 1 thing I did like is it seems he is developing the use of his left foot so he can drift inside from the right, cos we all know from past history he just tries to outpace fullbacks straight down the wing.
