They quite probably do. 5, 6 even 7 days a week but you carry on and defend the pathetic showing by highly paid athletes unable to do 3 x 90 mins a week plus a bit of jogging a few hours on top in training. They earn in a week what plenty who turn up to watch earn in a year.
My heart bleeds for them. Bless.

You understand that the other team in football are also usually highly paid athletes? Are you saying that because they get paid a lot, they should win every single week?

I wonder if anyone on here performs at absolutely 100% every single day at work without ever feeling tired, under the weather or just not quite at it for any number of possible reasons?
I consistently perform at Fleck levels

Did I say that? No. Then why make such a silly statement. Rotherham were a team decimated as we were and with a much smaller squad yet they showed every bit of commitment, desire and courage we were abject at. They were fully deserving of their win against a shambolic performance . You carry on and find excuses any which way you want. Rotherham owned us. And we had absolutely no answer on or off the pitch.

Without wanting to be disrespectful to RUFC, they were not "fully deserving of the win" on the balance of play. They had 34% of the ball, 4 shots to our 14, 2 on target to our 5. That isn't "owning" the other team. Same as we didn't 'own' Bristol City last week, despite getting three points.

So back to your point. Can you elaborate on your definition of being "unable to do 3 x 90 minutes a week"?

Yes. We managed 90 mins on Saturday and were largely embaressing last night.
Quite why you are clutching at straws to defend the indefensible I have no idea.
We were garbage last night and Rotherham fully deserved their win. The appalling showing isn't the first time. it's quite common. Bristol away most recently. We have no real consistency. Thankfully the quality of the Championship this season is pretty poor.

This criticism along with the "They don't care" one is amongst the most tired and laziest out there. You're aware that even yesterday every single one of them would have run rings around any of us in the stands? The difference is, missing that 1% due to tiredness, fatigue etc is all that's needed for fellow professionals to take advantage. Name me a single team that doesn't have a bad game, please? I'd love you to just name one.

They can get fucked, I didn't go into yesterday's game expecting to obliterate Rotherham because Im not a Pig, I simply expected a performance that warranted a victory.
This did not materialise, they were sluggish and gormless as fuck, beaten to every second ball, couldn't string two passes together, and played into danger every single time.
There was no forward momentum whatsoever, each time the ball came into our possession we knocked it backward and sideways, shit scared to run at them and disrupt them as they disrupted us.

The midfield remained entirely anonymous, but that's alright because the fans will continue to suck off Norwood and Fleck for all eternity despite both of them being a completely spent force.

Serious teams know how to be effective against side who adopt various tactical approaches. Not United, we just huff and puff to get a half chance as the opposition merely runs down the other end of the park and slots one in.

I'm so fucking tired of us having to put 10 times the effort into getting a goal than the other team who merely have to put three forward passes together, hit us on the counter and effortlessly score against us.

It's alright being Billy Big Bollocks when you hammer Burnley, but when you fuck it up in bread-and-butter fixtures, you warrant no place whatsoever in the top flight.

Put simply, either sort it out, or purge this fucking squad of the deadwood and stragglers, or resign ourselves to being total fucking mediocrities for the duration of this season and beyond.

Here ends the fucking lesson.
That bit about Norwood you put in there is absolutely crackers beyond belief.Fleck I will give you.

No interest in bothering about other teams. Only this one.
You carry on making excuses for the utter mess last night.
I'll carry on being objective and able to see garbage when I see it. Being critical of your team isn't a weakness. It's a strength. You crack on though and live in your alternative universe.

Every other team we play at home this season needs to use the same tactics as Rotherham did and we’ll not win many. It’s so easy to cancel us out and we’ve got a defensive fuck up in us every game.
Stop being honest. It's not the done thing apparently.

egan didn't sky it though, he got a great shot on target and the keeper pulled off a reflex save....it was unlucky...
You're right that he didn't sky it.

However let's ask Rotherham's where he most wanted the shot to go. I'd put money on him saying head-height and straight at me, which is exactly where it went.

I appreciate that it's not a popular opinion, and I'm not saying it as a piss take, but I genuinely believe Norwood's best days are behind him. We seriously need to revamp the midfield, and I think he can be replaced.

Very harsh on a snap shot from a centre-half....

I'll take that as you can't name another team that never has a bad game then? Alrighty then

He had a lot of time. He didn't need to hit it first time. But where he was it was clear the option was low to the corner.

It's very disappointing how poor Egan has been on front of goal.

All the components are there - good in the air, always goes up for corners, decent with his feet. It's quite the achievement 20 games in to have not scored once!

I don’t think you are exactly viewed as possessing clear thinking objectivity 😂😂

I'm not sure how you can say that we were appalling at Bristol City, but also say that Rotherham were fully deserving of their win last night. The two games were very similar, with the away side getting a gritty win against the general run of play in both games.
