Funny reading their meltdown tonight. Jos ahttt, players are shit, AND they've finally realised that someone with zero football knowledge throwing a wedge at it will only get you back to where you were a decade ago. :D
We're still shit though. Apparently.

Don't read that shit pal, they still think Terry Curran was a good player.

I can’t actually think of a manager they have had during my time watching football that I have actually rated. Then again we don’t have a much better record and are an example of a broken clock being right twice a day. So hopefully he is not sacked anytime soon. Can they afford to sack him?

The only thing that could make us being top of the league with a third of the season gone better, is seeing how much it hurts that lot. Watching them backpedal and squirm and desperately claw for excuses is wonderful. They just cannot accept that we are FAR superior to them, despite their millions, and it is beyond hilarious seeing them trying to make excuses for it. Long may it continue :D

Ok, calm down
They will be very different at the lane, it's a derby and it can go either way.
Our big strength is listening to their waffle before the game and ramming it down their throats, let's not start doing it ourselves

Yeah they might do us in the Derby but atm we're 10 points ahead and looking good, they're 15th and in meltdown.
You wait till we're 86 points clear and at least one league if you want but I'm drinking to any kind of positive we have over those bastards at any given opportunity. :D

At least they didn't get shut out 3-0 like last week they actually got one then let 3 blow by them.
Can they keep it under 3 against Norwich,

As an old Blade I have to say that I'm becoming a little nervous about the upcoming derby. These games have been known to bite the confident in the arse.

It's a derby, all bets are off and anything can happen. They were confident before the Bouncing Day Massacre and look how that turned out. We were confident about doing the double in the return and look how that turned out, they won 0-0.

Given the results to date we should win with relative ease. But it's a derby and their chance to prove that they aren't as shit as they appear to be so far.

And we have to remember that they are a far better team than we are because they paid a lot more for their players and pay them far more than we pay ours.

If that wasn't the case then it would mean that their owners and management haven't a clue about what they're doing and they are in the shit.:D

All can happen unless they are bombed again next week by Norwich they will be ready to roll over to get a new manager in.How many are waiting for the Jan window to get away from there.

We go top of the league and there’s another thread about Wednesday, yet they’re apparently the ones obsessed with us.

Time for bed.
Thank you. For taking the time before you went to bed to reply to something you have no interest in. That's non interest taken to the extreme. Bless you.

We're top of the league, were top of the league, fuck Sheffield Wednesday, were top of the league!!

Both clubs are on the verge, but with potentially very different destinations.

If we keep going as we are and add a sprinkling of quality in our attacking third in January, we could very well go up.

They on the other hand are about to reap a whirlwind. They aren't going up this season without a miracle and Chanser seems to think he is above it all and knows better, so won't sell enough of the family silver to satisfy the authorities longer term.. Even the most optimistic amongst them have grasped the situation now.

All that being said, anything could happen when we play them. But if we do our thing, I think we will have enough.

Last night's sky's EFL goals pointed out Wendies have lowest number of shots in this division. Lowest number of touches in o]position box They are 23rd in possession and have the same standing in completed passes.
Only the odd wonder goal has lifted them to where they are. But we have to guard against that . It's their only weapon

Thats excellent.....as long as another wonder fluke doesnt happen at the Lane on 9th Nov.

We should win but we all know too well what can happen in Derbys.

Lets hope we give them what the stats say we should.

They are 'top of the league' for players being out of contract next summer. Someone's made an actual league table and they're top.

Anyone seen odds on a Blades promotion / pork relegation double? It could be worth a small investment

In the recent past, we've had Bassett, Warnock and now Wilder. I can't see anybody in this shower of shite to compare:

Says everything when Gary 'Mogadon' Megson has the third-highest win % in their history.

I just don’t get the prioritisation of their failure over our success. Can’t we just enjoy how well we’re doing and, aside from at the actual derby, forget about the other lot?

Part of supporting a team is wishing the worst for your nearest rival, after all any success for them impacts on us in terms of support, media coverage etc.

We had 6 years of listening to those arrogant fuckers while we were in Division One. If they hadn't kicked Hartlepool off the pitch in the 2005 play-off final and Ched hadn't been (illegally) sent down in 2012 they'd still be in the third tier. They've had Mandaric and Chansiri's money and still fucked up.

There's no limit to the harm I wish on Wednesday and their bullshitting, delusional 'fans'.

There does appear to be a lot of people who post on here who prefer Wednesday doing badly to us getting promoted.
