Anyone who is a regular listener will know that Durham’s job is think of a talking point that will encourage a reaction and plenty of callers.
Therefore examples of his material and style are,

When Man City are struggling I’d ask the question if Pepe is overrated and yeserdays man?
I’d mention that Man City can afford the best manager in the world with the best players but Pep can’t even reach the semi finals of the Champions League.
Then I’d ask Man City fans to call in to give their opinion if Pep has been a failure and if his tippy tappy style has become old fashioned.

I remember him 2 years ago talking about how Klopp has the personality but he rarely wins anything. He is the serial “nearly man”
He was asking Liverpool fans to call in to give their opinion of whether Klopp is good enough for Liverpool.

A few months back when Man Utd were struggling he was asking whether Solksjaer is a sign of a lack of ambition at Man Utd.
He went through his poor record at Cardiff and how he’d never get a big job anywhere in Europe.
He said he was meant as a short term stop gap apointment....so why is he still there?

When he’s not playing the role of pantomime villain he’s really complementary about us and loves Widler
but don’t tell anyone......when he’s on his Drive show he’s playing to the crowd and wanting the audience to boo him.

It’s the radio equivalent of tabloids like The Sun....it has loads of listeners....whereas other stations have more of a serious broadsheet style.
Also Talksport so have some more serious shows like “TransEurope football show”

Think it’s good that listeners have choice.

I can understand that.
Parry was the class clown often getting his info wrong but again I think he deliberately plays that role just hoping for a reaction.
I’ve never taken to Brazil......he’s always bragging about his drinking exploits and how he never does any house work.
He once said his wife gets up at 4am with him to make him his cornflakes before he drives to work for his radio show.
He also brags about how he never does any preparation and how he’s been sacked loads of time for failing to show up for work.

I didn’t like them at first because they are very London centric and come across as arrogant and pompous.
Andy Jacobs is a Chelsea fan and he’s often saying stuff like “teams that come to Stamford Bridge to defend should be banned”
He says it ruins the spectacle and he wants to see both sides playing open attacking football.
He would say that when his team have one of the best forward lines in the league.

However I’ve grown to like them both now.....so agree they are pro the best show.
Paul Hawkbee, the very witty Spurs fan is particularly knowledgeable and appreciative/ respectful of lower league teams.

I’ve also grown to like Simon Jordan‘s input. He’s doesn’t sugar coat anything and tells it how it is.
His critisism against “black lives matter” was a loan voice several months ago when everyone else was scoring browny points.
Jordan articulates himself really well....going into areas when someone might scream “racist” at him but he explains the negatives of BLM really well.

Jim White is just a 2 face bull shitter....he likes to be everyone’s friend....good at his job though.

Thats the way life was buddy in 70s 80s geezers went to work birds looked after blokes ....its a bit of a traditional way of life ....Parry and Brazil were a good double act

Just don’t get personal about it, they always do the good cop, bad cop thing on every show to generate opinions and discussions
