Fair to say after seeing Saturdays results we got away with it Friday night which just goes to show what an opportunity we missed, we could now be sitting pretty in the top 6 instead we have a pressure game at Reading not usually a happy place for United. I know blade too long will quote stats to suit his Adkinsesque positivity but the fact are we have not been on it since the Burton game and our form is mid table at best and that is probably where we will end up. Out of the three teams promoted from League one we all thought Bolton would struggle and they are right in a dog fight, we are safe now no worries. The team to watch is the one who were miles behind both us and Bolton, Millwall have made steady progress all season and are now in great form grinding out wins even if they are unspectacular 1-0's just a few points behind us now and my dark horses to have a shot at the play off's, Millwall are the team to look out for.

I've not seen anyone suggesting any hate against the players or Wilder, just criticism of poor performances.

For me this period is the first time Wilder has had it tough (his first 4 games aside he has been exemplary). What would be good is if he shows us that he can get these players to play in the way we know they can. We can make many excuses (lack of funds, lack of Coutts, windy, rainy, cold etc) but all I would like to see is the Blades team from the start of the season.

Like I said before my comments weren't negative but based on observations of the results and performances of the last few months, which from your own table above shows a mid table team. If we want to become a play off contender again we need to raise it.

Absolutely spot on assessment. We've come such a long way in the last 18 months under wilder. Yeh sure we've not had the best run of results since the burton game and Friday night was really poor!!. We currently sit 2 points off the playoffs and some are treating this season as a failure. FFS. Remember we were told by many opposition fans including the massive across at S6 that we would be fighting a relegation battle now just to stay in LA LIGA!!. I'd much rather be in our position than Sunderland at the bottom of the table knowing that they've got to win every game just to have a chance of staying up!!!. UTB

It's not so much rotating players, it's messing around with the only player who has any creativity in him, Duffy. If United are behind with 20 minutes to go, that's it, we lose as we are no good at chasing a game late on so saving Duffy for this stage of the game is pointless. He has to start and get us off to a good start, that's the only way we are going to win any games between now and the end of the season. Since Coutts and Brooks got injured/ill let's say it as it is and be honest, we've been fucking shite. There's no driving force or creativity in midfield bar Duffy.

If we can't afford to join the big boys at the top table money-wise I can accept that all day long but ffs we can at least make the best of what we've got.
