We're clearly not devoid of quality altogether, but there just doesn't seem to be anything you can say we're good at.

Not great on the ball, not great off it, tame up front, not particularly pacey, not overly tall or strong. We've looked steady enough at the back, but with McGuinness in there I don't see that lasting too long.

I'm not suggesting that we're terrible in those areas either, but without a bit of life injecting into this squad the early signs are that this could be another long season of mediocrity at best.

So far fine as an away performance against a team who love having possession whilst playing a new formation in terms of making it a tight game.

But crikey we make everything look such hard work don’t we. We just lack any composure throughout the pitch, defence is all quite last ditch, any pressure on us and we lump it forward, midfield 3 are all meant to be ball players but we can’t keep possession, and the front two just never make it stick.

We don’t look like we really have a clue what we want to do or how we want to do it, and I think it’s going to be a chore to watch this season.

For what is worth, I’d get a CM off, put O’Hare in the 10 & stick Campbell up with Bamford for the second half.

What do they do all week, certainly don’t do that outdated manoeuvre called’pass and move’ . It’s proper bollock tightening watching this week in,week out.

Yep, Campbell for Arblaster seems to be the call

Go direct

Not been too bad this half

A couple of observations:

Seriki needs more going forward. Not seen enough overlaps

McGuiness who has done ok, seems to be all over the place. Going over the halfway line on numerous occasions following their CF. Don’t know if he’s under orders to do so or is getting caught out of position

Peck Rothwell blaster ok but need more

As others say, Burrows as a defender has not been good enough

Take the positives so far considering the current situation.

I doubt anyone is particularly surprised that we haven't created much in the two league games so far but if we can not concede, then that's more than I expected.

Got to be scoring there! Good from Peck & Seriki. EDIT: Having seen the replay there was nobody there to finish it 😞

Swansea have most of the possession but no shot on target and haven't looked dangerous, we look quite solid at the back, and although I wouldn't say we were playing well weve had a few very good chances, and thats without any creativity at all
