You have been critical of United since around 9 am today. Even before the bloody team was announced. Then whinging about the team and then throughout the first half and then disappeared..... again. Find something else to occupy yourself. You'll give yourself health problems worrying about things before they occur. Is there enough substance there or would you like more guidance on your potential problems?
🤣🤣 jeez. I mean there's been economical with the truth then this.

Yet another post without anything of substance, no debate. Just absolute basic retort and attempted insult.

You, like many who swarm over anything resembling criticism of the manager, have yet to offer any counter argument and have an actual honest discussion.

Y'see I thought Chong did alright but Cannon offers us absolutely nothing, apart from running around a bit, falling over and sticking his leg out at the odd clearance.
In defence of Cannon, how many games have we played to his strengths?

Thought Rothwell was good today, miss apart I thought he was solid.

Where's the 'economy of truth' there? I don't think Wilder is the second coming but, I don't criticise before the end result of anything. A concept which you, among plenty of others, seem incapable of. Whinge away, you just make yourself look silly when it bites your arse. As it has today.

I would say I’d moan about being labelled a twat but if I’m honest I am one…
Back in my Tesco days, a customer was moaning at me to sort something out, so I said, "If you stop acting the twat, I'll get it sorted," to which he replied, in a really pompous, booming voice, "YOU'RE the twat!" My colleagues found this most hilarious, as did I, to be perfectly honest.

Felt like we were rarely under pressure yesterday. They had a couple of chances and of course we still look vulnerable defensively, but there was zero threat from Lincoln City.

First half was so slow and uninspiring, the ref was letting a lot go and the game felt like a friendly, even with the physicality

The 1st goal just felt routine. 2nd was strange as it felt like nobody wanted to play the ball to Chong and next thing he’s in the box bagging 3rd, again, routine. All three good finishes. All three weak defending / goalkeeping

We hardly got out of 1st or 2nd gear.

Good to see Oné get some minutes, thought Peck and Rothwell did ok there’s just no spark in that central midfield so it has to come from the width but without Donovan and Oné it’s very workman like.

No issues with full backs, they did their jobs. Bamford was dropping very deep, leaving cannon as the lone striker so it didn’t feel like we played to his strengths.

The vision and out balls seem to always come from the fullbacks, with play coming down the wings, it’s not really coming from central midfield and it feels too predictable.

That said, we got the result and avoided a potential banana skin.

I got pulled up for saying we don't play to Cannons strengths yesterday so glad you mentioned that.

I can't remember many big chances he's missed, and that's his strength judging by his finishing when he's actually given the supply (both here and previous clubs). I might be missing some glaring chances, but we tend to remember guilt edged chances ie Rothwell's chances v Mansfield and yesterday - I just don't recall TC missing any like those.

Some stats from yesterday which show a bit more balance. 3 big chances for lincoln with all our goals coming against the run of play. Couple of moments of quality from Bamford and a deflection from Chong was the only difference,

Good three points that are really welcome right now but there’s still a lot more work to do.

Chong's was a nice goal, not a deflection. Unless in off the post minimises it in some way?

To be reyt Chris, I don't work in an office with seating for 30,000 around my desk, so that paying 'punters' can come and watch me type reports. And I also don't get paid an absolute king's ransom to do it. If you can't hack people watching you and criticising you when you're having a bad day at work, don't be a professional footballer.

I genuinely don't see what Cannon's strengths are. To be fair, I did think he had a better game yesterday - he has started actually competing for the ball in the air rather than just limply backing in to the defender and he certainly put in a shift pressing at the front, but his lack of pace and strength mean offers nothing like the threat that Donovan does.

I think his main strength is finishing. I'd love to find some stats on his chance conversion (that xG stuff) to see what that shows. Might prove me totally wrong.

If he played as striker in the mcgoldrick/sharp/duffy days I'm certain he'd have done well due to the types of chances we created.

I see why people are dismissive of him - so am I to an extent, we don't play to suit him so in my eyes a poor recruitment strategy, poorly thought out.

Lots of heavily refreshed Lincoln fans around town yesterday after the match. Good turn out from them.

Barely any noise in the ground though - seemed like a lot of day trippers in the ranks.

It looked like a cut back when I was on the Kop and the replays show the same. It’s going square until it hits the keepers leg 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lovely work by Rothwell though.

Good job it wasn't cut back then as there was only Bamford present in the box. Where was our star £10m striker? Was he loitering around the edge of the box, still waiting for that perfect through ball?

Can't understand why people are still complaining after a 3-0 win.

We've had 3 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats in the league so far which is comfortably keeping us afloat in mid table for now.

Everything is far from rosy at the minute but come on.
