Aren't suspensions for five yellows effective from 7 days on from the 5th yellow??

We play them lot on the Friday...

He's a big Forest fan, didn't work out for him there as a player. He'll want to play that more than the derby

That seals it then get him played. Bloody hell imagine how good he’ll be when he’s up for it and wanting to prove a point !

Don't worry, we won't get any suspensions.

O'Connell and Fleck will just pull their hamstrings.

If you’ve made that up it’s fucking brilliant, if it’s true then even better. Sounds like a Sunday league ban.

Our team selection v Forest should partly be based around ensuring certain players are available and at their best for the derby.

Freeman is one who should be rested.

Hard to know what to do with the strikers though.

Think we might need McGoldrick against Wednesday because they won't have forgot what worked for them last time, and if they play in a similar way we'll need a player like him to unlock them.

Hopefully Egan and Duffy will be available next week.

what is the latest rule

bash on 9
stevens on 6

what is the cut off date for 10?

Cut off for 5 has gone, cut off for 10 is 37 games according to FA website so Bash will likely get 2 more by then.

Edit: Worksop just pipped me

according to the ratings section of this site Basham is on 9

11 games for bash to stay clean seems unlikely. everyone else as a chance

Norwood is 3 for 3 on bookings I think over Christmas. Think he'll be lucky not to get one, and Stevens needs to be on his best behaviour because he attracts soft yellows like no-one else.

Basham is on eight according to Sunday's programme. Stevens, Egan and Norwood are on six. Mcgoldrick is on five. Nobody else is close to a suspension for ten yellows.
I think you have untill 37 league matches to avoid a suspension for ten yellows; we have played 26 so far. That is, if I'm reading this correctly: http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions

It’s probably including the first yellow against Blackburn but the red supersedes it.

Edit: That’s just made me think, if you’re on 9 yellows and get booked, you could get yourself sent off and get a 1 game ban instead of 2. Delaying the inevitable but if there’s a particular game you don’t want to miss...

I guess really close the cut off it would make sense.

Someone will have done it I'm sure
