If we dont go up we wont have this team next year. The following will leave:

Isidor, Bellingham, Rigg, Neil and likely Hume. Le Fee clearly as well as his signing permanently was on condition of promotion.

It'll be a total rebuild albeit with a canny sized war chest.

If I was a betting man right now - first SAFC game was 1971 - I'd say we wont go up. We will lose in the semi final of the play offs (if we get the 13 points - and I'm not convinced where they are coming from) to someone like coventry.

Be very interesting too see how we do against your neighbours next week/Friday?
You won't sell all of them and if you did you'd be looking at 100 m easy to re recruit and your recruitment is excellent

The envy of the division

Can I ask a serious question.. how does O'Nien get picked every week.. every time I watch S'land he looks a bombscare waiting to happen.

Does he have incriminating photos of your manager??

You’ll lose Bellingham even if you do go up. You won’t lose all of the others. Rigg, for one, is a great young player but isn’t ready for the PL yet. Maybe your match against our grunting brethren will be the one that gets things back on track.

Is it just me that doesn't see the love in for Bellingham? He's an OK to decent Championship player but don't think he's Premier League quality whatsoever.

Living off his brother's reputation..

He’s a very different player to his brother & doesn’t play in the same way at all. I think he’s a tremendous defensive midfielder who also uses the ball very well. I’d have him like a shot, but we would have no chance.

It's disappointing if Le Fee is out for the season, even if they are potential play off rivals

As for Bellingham, I also think he's overhyped but his brother is actually a reason to further tempt clubs to invest in him - Jude is a very obvious yardstick for him to constantly measure himself against. He'll not want to have a mediocre career while his brother completes football

Bellingham is a great player, was best midfielder on Park against us
In fact best player

To get 13 points, you need 4 wins and a draw, from 12 games. Can't see you not doing that at an absolute minimum.

Next up for you is pigs at theirs, they are poor at home and haven't taken anything from the top 6, W.

Cardiff at home, W
Millwall at home W
Swansea at home W

Then you also have winnable games vs West Bronx and particularly Norwich who are fairly shite this year. Not to mention Oxford away and manager less Blackburn at home.

No need to panic at all.

Your performances this year remind me a lot of us back in 17/18. We were tagged for mid table at best, got off to a great start, played incredible football and had a real buzz about the place by Jan-Feb. But it was just a season too early. We had a couple of key injuries, didn’t add enough in Jan, and ran out of steam.

The next year we added a couple of proven champ players in Egan and Norwood and smashed it. Went on to finish in top ten of the Prem the year after.

You have some top young talent to sell and reinvest. It can be a double-edged sword, as you’ll lose a couple of your best players. We sold David Brooks to Bournemouth that summer to fund Egan, Norwood and others. But I think your club is set up well and has proven it spends money wisely - the fact you were in for Cannon gives me hope that he’ll come good at some point!

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if you won the playoffs. And if not, think you’ll be amongst the favourites for top 2 next year. Chin up.

We've gone and might not make the play offs - and I'm serious when I say that.

We haven't played well for weeks and the Leeds game where we threw the game away with just 10 minutes to go has hit home hard. Remember at one point we were just 4 points off Leeds.

We need 13 points for the play offs and ATM I dont see where they are coming from.

Things can change very quickly in football and they just have for SAFC.

Lose to your nearest and dearest next week and the panic button will have been hit. We certainly aren't going up automatically and you cant go into the play offs - if we get the required 13 points - on the crest of a slump. That is a recipe for losing in the semi finals never mind the final.

Keep a close eye on us because this could be quite dramatic.

You could have warned me before I stuck a tenner on you.
