Suggestion re Coventry fans

I came on and tried my hardest to explain the issues around the club, but no one on here understands how bad it is.
It has nothing to do with the financial harm, it is to do with the sheer stupidity of our owners. We are literally homeless at the end of next season with no training ground or academy.
Good and hopefully we don't let u use our place again

PUSBSISU is like a mardy child, no one cares about my club. That's spot on, we don't. We didn't before the protests but even less so now.

Enjoy pitch invading at Crawley next season and hopefully Braintree the year after.

No one cares about us, yet you have been writing threads on here for the past 4 months.

Any of you alive when you last won the FA Cup?

I'm sure many of you were alive in 1987 when you averaged 9000 in the 2nd tier and we won the FA Cup, though.

Good night.

Shame that future generations won't have been alive when your club existed.

By your calculations a mere ~120 threads on Coventry City in that time, seems I've missed the majority of them.

My main memory of Coventry City, Sheffield United and the FA Cup was beating you in the Quarters - There was a pitch invasion that night funnily enough.

Were you there? not born? or just not "bothered" to go?

Oh they do, they just no longer really give a shit because you acted like bellends, more interested in looking the big men and having 'bantz' under the excuse of protesting.

You also selectively acted upon certain methods of protest, aimed at our players or when we had the ball. Then whined like bloody hell when you got a sarcastic response back.

It's quite simply untrue that there has been a 'new thread every week', but don't let that get in the way.

We've had banners supporting you, numerous conversations pre-match with your fans about the situation and most were very sympathetic before you eroded that.

Should we have got more prissy about your Tevez chants?

Ever thought to ask yourselves why the protest in our game at Charlton didn't attract a similar sarcastic response? In fact, a number of Blades joined in and threw balls onto the pitch.
We even let them have the draw ,shame they spoilt that too.

I remember the good old days. You know, when a group of Coventry City fans used to travel the length and breadth of the country stealing wallets from golf club locker rooms. Ah the memories, pass me a Werther's Original.

Have any of your fans ever been alive to see you win the top division? Our fans have seen us in six FA Cup finals, winning four by the way. Your comments about SUFC in the 80s, are somewhat ironic bearing in mind your fans appeals for solidarity during your bad times. As were your fans Tevez chants (not that Blades fans blamed Tevez or Mascherano directly). CCFC have had far less turmoil than SUFC post war, and been run fantastically in comparison. Your fans should man up and behave with dignity like we did for many years. Arguably our best owner since the 70s has us in league one for the fifth consecutive year, if that helps give you some perspective.

Been really sad seeing a fine club like Leyton Orient struggle on & off the pitch this season (even if the struggle we inflicted on them on the pitch was pretty enjoyable).

Coventry on the other hand... Well, they've got the owners they deserve. Here's to them winning the FA Vase in a few years.
Charlton at home next week and possibly the final home game are where the protests will continue.

Now you're talking. Orient and Charlton are proper clubs with proper fans and I doubt if any/many Blades wish them nothing but well. Coventry? Think they're the only club which has suffered shite owners and the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. The Blades have had far worse. We've struggled at times - even this season. But the players have looked at our magnificent support and put that extra shift in. I doubt if they would have if all we could offer as fans was blowing fucking whistles and chucking tennis balls.

Watch out! Coventry will invade Sheffield in April! In their usual, impressive numbers.

Had a bizarre conversation with a Cov fan I work with. He was hoarse from cheering them on at Wembley. He rambled on about 46000 and winning a cup, saying it was the turning point.

I pointed out, that i had attended more Cov home games than him this season (1 V the Blades) and suggested if the 46000 went to watch them every week they wouldn't be in the shit they are in. The response, "What, pay £28 to watch Tranmere".

I tactfully pointed out that Tranmere are not even in League 1 and politely refuted his claim that we will get dicked on Wednesday night by a resurgent SISU and sent him directions to Accrington Stanley!

They appear to have Wednesdayesque delusions of massiveness.

What makes a proper club then?

You really, really haven't had it worse. Stop being silly.

Why is this ramblin on? We don't like each other and hopefully after tomorrow we won't see each other for a long time.

I came here expecting to read about euthanasia. Bit disappointed, really.

What would you rather ?

1. Have a tattoo of Steve Evans
2. Have a tattoo of Karl Robinson
3. Be a dirty Cov fan
