What about that lad McNulty at Coventry he's bagged over 20 already this season and is a decent age....stands back...

I agree with those saying we need to blow the budget on a quality striker and wide man. One of the reasons our crossing is poor is because full backs are doing the crossing...let's get a proper winger in and a shit hot forward to play alongside Billy or Leon with the other as back up. If we can't afford a ready made forward I'd get Wyke in from Bradford as I think he's a potential star

The only problem being Utd don't play with wingers. As Ricky says, delivery from out wide comes from wing backs (or overlapping CBs!)

Wyke could be the next Hugill imo.

Could've easily had Wyke last year.... but we preferred James Hanson.

Wish list.

Blackman
Central Jack O’Connnell
Rightsided Jack O’Connell
Shit quick Brian Deane

= Top 2.

I wouldn’t argue with another leftback or Ryan Woods if we had limitless funds but don’t think we need em as a priority.

In case we stay in the Championsship here some names from Ajax who would be a great addition to the squad I think:

Mitchell Dijks (AFC Ajax, leftback, Fee: Free transfer. Not sure If he would be down since he rejected Norwich last year, but last summer and this winter he couldn't find a club so maybe he lowers his demands.)

Noussair Mazraoui (AFC Ajax, allround midfielder, can also play in the attack or at the right back position if needed. Fee: Free transfer. This guy would be an outstanding signing and would be one of the best players from Sheffield United instantly I think. If you offer him a decent amount of money and a good perspective you should be able to sign him.

Kaj Sierhuis (AFC Ajax, striker Fee: Loan. All-round striker who just scores goals and goals and goals. Don't think he's ready for Ajax 1 next season, especially if Dolberg stays with us so he would be available for loan.

Wrote above 2 months ago. Alright, Mazraoui is officially part of the AFC Ajax selection and he's not possible anymore as I heard he's going to re-sign at AFC Ajax.

Dijks and Sierhuis are both still possible and really think they are pretty decent for the Championsship. Dijks is just a solid left back. Sierhuis is special and think he could be a sensation here.

Dominic Solanke from Liverpool on loan for a season. Wages high but no worse than spending 1million on an average div 1 striker. He should know Jamal and he needs games to make the next step up at Liverpool.

Wyke from Bradford??. I'm not so sure. My brother in law( Bradford season ticket holder). Says that he's not really shown his potential this season!.
Admittedly that might have something to do with the management change halfway through the season and their current team setup. It would be a risk.
I just think we need to aim higher if we don't want to stagnate in this division!. I M O.

Jamal Blackman - GK
John Egan - CB
Trevoh Chalobah - RCB
Jay Da Silva - LWB
Sam Gallagher - ST
Mohamed Eisa - ST

Ha ha. I remember back in the day the key to romping through the lower leagues was buying an unknown Swedish 17 year old called Ibrahamovic.... Whatever happened to him??

Tonton Zola Moukoko...unsurpassed on one of the original CM games. I think I managed the Blades to six or seven Prem titles and five consecutive Champions League wins with him leading the attack.

Another thing to consider is that a lot of this seasons key performers are the wrong side of 30, Sharp, Duffy, Clarke, Stearman even Donaldson (although that would be stretching things to claim Don as key)

We have to think about how much longer they can keep going at this level, once you hit that wall the legs can go quickly it may already have happened to Donaldson (and possibly Clarke) so we may have to consider cover and replacements in more areas than what we think.

I can’t see the ownership being resolved much this side of Xmas so funds are going to be limited in the summer. We may sadly have to sacrifice Brooks to the Premiership sharks to get what we need to keep afloat next season. I just hope we don’t under value him.

There's been no mention of signing an animal rights activist.

As a vegan i'm offended.

Whilst I would defend your right to be offended 'til my dying day, there is a good reason for the this situation.

This is that it is a well known fact that most animal rights activists, like your good self, are vegans who, because of their chosen diet, tend to fart considerably more than those of us with a more conventional choice of food.

As a result, they ( and you ) pump far more methane into the atmosphere than the average human and we all know that this Inevitably leads to global warming / climate change / the apocalypse because it says so in the Guardian, the Independant and other such flawless publications.

Accordingly, no self respecting environmentally conscious football club such as SUFC could possibly contemplate employing such individuals.

Sorry to disappoint.

Quality. I remember getting a software patch where you could create your own players. Cue me and my mate being the wingers putting in crosses for Zlatan Ibrahamovic and Juan Riquelme to power Glossop North End to back-to-back Champions League victories.

Matt Phillips, anyone ? Baggies down, wages might be a problem ? I like him though, can play 3 or 3 different rolls.

Get that Jamal Blackman signed... looks a right keeper.

Apart from that some young, hungry, quick, strong, aerially dominant, hard workong, tricky, free scoring, Striker.... he shouldn't be hard to find

I see that Mohamed Eisa is the new wonder kid, that nobody had ever heard of before he was mentioned in the Rumours section, that we absolutely must be signing.

Spitting out my (soy) milk, very funny :D

P.s. I was only playing up to a stereotype. The international break makes us all go a bit cold tofu I mean turkey.

Mo Eisa is a no brainer for a club like us, given the value of decent strikers these days.

I could probably come round to the idea of signing Sam Winnall. I'd take Lucas Joao too.

Sam Winnall is as far from a CW type as you'd get unfortunately, which is a shame as i think he's a decent player.

The reason Barnsley and now Wednesday let him go is due to his temperament and bullying attitude towards anyone seen as weaker than him ie younger players.

If we want to upset the team spirit we've got then get him signed. If not then stay well away.

Aren't you thinking of cows?

What about Adam Armstrong as a potential striker? Currently on loan at Blackburn from Newcastle I believe, could be worth a punt?

get some international scouting and go for some foreign players

I'll add to Scooter_mcgavin If only there were someone similar to a young Callum Wilson, mobile, strong, and can guarantee a good return on goals. Pace would be an improvement up front, so I hope we'll ensure that's a priority for us

The fact is there is another Callum Wilson out there, we just don't know who it is yet. Wilders job is to find him early

Ryan christie from Celtic is somebody we should go for. He has been on loan at Aberdeen the past few seasons and been one of our best if not the best player. Celtic are recalling him and he is unlikely to get a look in the Celtic team with the squad they have. Around 750k should get him.

That's an interesting shout. Who else do you think could be worth a look, from Aberdeen and the SPL in general?

Graeme Shinnie has looked like a good player when I've seen him. Left back or central midfield, good on the ball and I assume could play the LWB role.
