The easy option would be to get a level of consistency.
Many have said, when they win they potentially over do the celebrating (we are in a relegation battle), but when they lose there is an understandable drop off in wanting to thank the fans (potentially due to shame).
Home and away, just go to the centre circle and either clap the whole ground (if home) or clap the relevant stand (if away).
You need to take the rough with the smooth and own it.
Its a crap season, there are going to be ups and downs, so just find a level of thanking the fans that suits every scenario.
Credit to those fans that travel home and away.
I dont leave early, but have no issue with those that do.
They have paid money to watch the game, so its there choice what they do.
Looking at this seasons and the end of last seasons form, the players seem to give up earlier than the fans leave, so i dont get the dig at fans who leave early
