Stop abusing Henderson on social media ffs

Rotherham is the obvious points winning performance, should have been 3 but his team mates let him down
A couple of good saves at Wigan and a virtual assist for Duffy's goal
Some very good stops against Norwich at home prior to the late winner for us. Point blank one shown on video below.
To be honest, he's made significant saves in many games this season.
He's athletic and makes some saves that recent goalies (including Blackman) would never have got to.
He's also made several point blank, reaction saves throughout the season that have left me speechless
Largely he get strong hands on saves as well (last night being very much an exception on the 2nd goal), although to defend him the deflection probably made that harder than it looks in slow motion on TV.
He's been good on crosses (although not in the Blackman class) as well, again with the odd exception and last night being a bad one
Finally, his distribution has been excellent leading to several goals and many chances.

Add to that the free kick save last night. commentary said it was right at him, i didn't see it that way.

Well all I can say is, after he fucked up against Leeds he went on a very good run. He's obviously a confident lad and rightly so, he's very good.

I'm sure he'll be as pissed off as we are and I would expect a reaction from him next game.

As for abusing people directly in Twitter etc, grow up.

I’m sure the vast majority of those abusing Hendo are fans of other clubs.

As for his keeping, the jury is still out for me. He does not control the six yard box well enough - perhaps because he is quite small and slight for a keeper. The way he was brushed aside for Villa’s first was alarming. His shot stopping is generally good - but wasn’t for Villa’s second.

He’s had some good games - but made mistakes too. He’s a character but needs to focus on producing more consistently good performances.

Majority of the abuse if from Villa / Norwich / Piglet supporters. Some of the comments I saw was disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves, I know some of them are kids being kids but there was full on grown adults giving him some right disgusting abuse, they should know better. Henderson did make mistakes but so did the whole team from the moment Villa made it 3-1. Blind panic set in and mistakes were everywhere .I'll bet Villa couldn't believe their luck, they were dead & buried but then suddenly realised they had a chance. It was just like Rotherham re visited .
