Quinn does look like the weak link but with Williamson and his bulging disk whether he has surgery or not he is done for the season.Back to the transfer market as Quinn is clearly not good enough.

Is it not a bit too early to be hanging Quinn out to dry? Lets not forget, he's still young, and last season was really his first full season? With a bit of composure, he could have had 2 or 3 goals last night. When he adds this to his game, we'll have a serious player on our hands....his sheer energy alone is massively important to the way we play, and is probably why Blacky seems to rate him so highly.

yes agree with the energy part he does cover some miles but problem is he has had a full season and most of the premiership season n he seems to be taking a step back unfortunatly

Actually thought Quinn started well, energetic, aggressive and made a few off the ball runs. Later on he seemed to get sloppier and made some poor decisions.

Think he'll be allright for away games when we put a lot of emphasis on stopping the opposition, but unless he improves, he's one we should be looking to replace.

More urgent for me is getting Howard out of the team. So slow, unfit and unathletic (if that's a word) it is embarrassing, and while he has decent technique it's not enough. We may play the 4-4-1-1 a fair bit and we can't just continue sticking with Howard in such a role, hoping that somehow he'll come good (Blackwell did this with Sharp) - in the end it's going to cost us points.

my main gripe about quinn is that he is one of the worst play acters i have ever seen in a blades shirt

He does have a knack of looking like his career is about to end every time someone fouls him :)

But then again, he does seem to attract a lot more late challenges than most.

Brian Howard is one who is quite partial to a swan dive whenever he's around the area. The Barnsley fans at work highlighted it as one of the main benefits of his game... winning free kicks.

Unlike a few Blades fans, I do actually like Quinny! :)

Although I must admit, he does go down far too easily on certain occassions, but then on others, he doesn't go down when he could and probably should go down...
