I don't like these defenders that can apparently play in midfield.

Why has Frank Rijkaard disappeared from football?| All Football

I don't like these defenders that can apparently play in midfield. Bash can play in midfield apparently, but only to the same level a dog can play the piano.

Bit harsh...!

Working at Norwich City fc this week

Interesting that that have spent millions on developing a state of the art academy and training facilities and their overall infrastructure- equipping them for the future - at the expense of team investment . They are now ready to grow their own and attract players due to this infrastructure and focus in team investment .

We in the other hand messed it all up

Unfortunately the bills weren't paid for his lamp. So he'll be in a low energy lethargic state, until it gets switched back on.

Who or what is this Bettis you all speak of?

Like the Lord Lucan of Bramall Lane. If he ever got kidnapped and the note got lost it would be months until anyone noticed. Only when it was time to sack or hire a new manager...

Random but does anyone know where SB was at before United? No reason just curious as he speaks well for a southerner.

He wasn't involved in football. An accountant part of a property development company. He sold his shares and effectively retired with a house in the States for a while. Was a mutual friend of Simon McCabe and played Squash with the McCabes in London when visiting the UK. KM initially invited him to come in as a part time SUFC CEO to cover for loss of Mel Brannigan. The rest thereafter is history.
