His cone spacing is impeccable I'm toldHe also said Chris Wilder has told him Tom Cannon has been doing really good things in Training..
Fjortoft if we ever find out what we paid for Matos I think there will be a collective gulp very similar to the one we all emitted when we heard we had paid 10m for Cannon. A Chelsea academy player with 20 appearances in the championship for Oxford will have cost a lot more than hes so far looked worth! Add a couple of million here and a couple there for the others and I bet most if not all that 14m was spentWe got around £12m for Souza. and a further £2m for Kieffer Moore.
So even if Anel and Tanganga cancel each other out, there's no way we forked out anywhere near £14m on the other dross.
Yep but the problem is those cones tackle him when he tries to dribble past themHis cone spacing is impeccable I'm told
I expect COH to bail out inside next 12 months. Would not be surprised if the process to sell has not started already.
It would not surprise me if that thought is already high on the agenda or discussed very recently. Trouble is,their investment has already fallen. We had players that were worth something earlier last season, now there is no player that would command decent money.I expect COH to bail out inside next 12 months. And in his own words “fully fledged board member” Bettis, despite having 10 years experienced at the Lane to share didn’t seem to have had the balls or the desire to say ‘whoah hang on a minute!. In the interview, he described the chaos as a them and him situation where he stood helpless on the sidelines while ‘they’ ****** up! How so?
Some of the reports about what we might have paid for Matos and McGuinness are terrifying. 2 players who have done nothing in their careers to warrant chunky transfer fees. However they aren't confirmed and I'll cling to that.
Anything £5m plus and I expect a player who has won plaudits playing 1st team football at Championship level or above. Neither of them have.

Summary - Sunday league level communicator, speaking on behalf of a bang average championship club, recovering from a catastrophic series of decisions and crossing fingers that Wilder keeps us in the division.
'I'm an accountant'
Stick to the day job then Steve.
Woeful.
Yes it is , with seller's signings. Why? His record is already similar to Selles?
Two footballers who came through the academies at huge clubs - Chong at Feyenoord then Manchester, McGuinness at Arsenal - yet seem to lack one or more of the fundamentals of their positions. McGuinness can't judge a ball in the air; Chong has (on limited evidence, admittedly) zero positional sense.Permanent deals for Chong and McGuinnes.. two awful footballers![]()
Sadly with wages quite a bit more.Have we paid £10m for Cannon?

Not really surprised at McGuinness. I can't imagine the ball spends much time off the ground in elite academy football, not much of a preparation for defending in the ChampionshipTwo footballers who came through the academies at huge clubs - Chong at Feyenoord then Manchester, McGuinness at Arsenal - yet seem to lack one or more of the fundamentals of their positions. Nor sure why Bettis is getting all the flack for the interview. I thought he gave honest answers even if it was only to confirm what we already knew or suspected. We may not like what he was saying but at least we know where we currently stand. Basically the owners plans are to get promoted but with no real strategy as to how we achieve this or how we establish ourselves when we get their.
In the region of £10m. Leicester just did the payday loan thing against a further £6m in instalments due from us next year and 2027.How much was the fee?
Surely those instalments are performance related? In the region of £10m. Leicester just did the payday loan thing against a further £6m in instalments due from us next year and 2027.
Widely reported that we did but who knows, see below from BBC websiteHave we paid £10m for Cannon?

I don’t know, Gilchrist went from £10m, to £5m to £1.5m within the space of the window so we might have got a good deal on Matos.Fjortoft if we ever find out what we paid for Matos I think there will be a collective gulp very similar to the one we all emitted when we heard we had paid 10m for Cannon. Sheffield United have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland striker Tom Cannon from Leicester for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around £10m.
What I would guess is that Matis cost a significant sum although I hope some of it is based on appearance/ promotiotytype clauses
It was brought up to Bettis during the FH heaven interview and he didn’t challenge the £10m figure. Even if he can’t disclose the actual amount he could have confirmed we didn’t pay that much.Have we paid £10m for Cannon?
