Start of the season excitement

I'm not remotely nervous. We're not expected to go up, and I don't believe we'll struggle. But above all, we've got a team that plays great football and we've got some big matches lined up. What's not to like?

We've played under big pressure and expectation for years.
In league 1 the result was all that mattered, we were desperate for promotion by any means.

Agree that I can't see us being anywhere near relegation so we can play with freedom and enjoy.

Only a minor thing perhaps, and not up there on excitement-ometer but does anyone know if we get a Champions flag to proudly fly this season ?
I'm sure I remember us having one when we won the old 4th Division.

I have not been this excited about the start of a season since 2006. Wish I was going to be there I'll make do with iFollow.

Spare a thought for those of us in different timezones. I've to wait a couple more hours - 5pm kick off local time - until the hallowed turf is graced again. It's going to be along day...

Can't wait. We are on the 6.40 am flight out of Belfast in the morning. Hire car up from Liverpool and grab a bite to eat. Heading to the club shop to buy the home and away kits for the young lad and then onto the legends of the lane tour at 1pm (he's never been). After last seasons heroics we approach tomorrow with a quiet confidence. COYRAWW!!
