Anyone catch Sportsweek on Radio Five this morning?
Nice long interview with Wilder but they also had Ian Ridley the sports journo who wrote the Tony Adams 'Addicted' book back in the day in the studio with Garry Richardson.
Turns out that Ridley's missus, Vikki Orvice, who died from cancer earlier this year (and who was also one of the first female sports reporters) was a Blade and Ridley was moved that United had sent TC to her funeral to the point he was now adopting us as his club.
Apologies if this is all old news but I hadn't heard it before and amid all the hullabaloo about Premier League this and that it reminded me some things matter much more - and a major thumbs up to the club for making a difference.
