Did anyone see much of him last year? The decision to let him leave on loan in the first place seems crazy by his performances so far this season.

I hope he doesn't have a recall clause...

You obviously haven't heard the great news about Souttars contract
(as per Jimmy Ramble recently giving out the loan recall details on Souttar, Gilchriest and Rak Sakyi on his YouTube channel).

Regards Souttar the terms of the contract agreed by us and Leicester was that
Leicester have an option to recall him in Jan25 BUT only if Souttar plays less than 50% of the matches that he was available (injury free) for.

He's playing every match for us....so that means he only needs to play about 4 more matches
then we've got him for the full season....and there's nothing Leicester can do about it. YESSSSSSS!

Gilchriest and Rak Sakyi have recall causes too but the decision must be taken during the 1st week in Jan. Jimmy reckons Chelsea wont be interested in recalling Gilchriest because he wont get a game there this season however if Palace are still struggling then they might decide to recall Rak Sakyi to be their impact sub but he still thinks he's more likely to be here the full season because CP aren't likely to pin their hopes on such a young inexperienced talent.

They have Wout Faes & Caleb Okoli as regular centre backs plus Conor Coady on the bench.

They didn't think Harry was good enough to get a start for them in Championship so I can't see them thinking he's now good enough for the Premiership. Even if they got someone injured I reckon (hope) they'd pay out for someone new rather than bring Harry back

Leicester City can't have him back even if they wanted him back.....it was basically agreed as a full season loan.
There's a minor Jan recall clause that Sheff United fully control....so it won't happen unless we want him to be recalled.
He's 100% gauranteed to be here the full season.

JRS a concern, but hopefully Palace's form picks up soon.

Souttar was named in the Socceroos squad this morning for their two games in the break. Not provisional squad - their final squad that they can't change - WC Qualifiers - so no bluffing on our behalf

Just watched his press conference comments. Very articulate and calm. Clearly a smart guy. Speaks like a future manager.

Really hope we can make his move a perm. Could be our lynchpin in defence for the next 5-6 years in the same way Egan was (Egan gets stick on here but I have no idea why, given his record).

Souttar for me is a top-two champ defender and I feel he would hold is own in a lower prem side. Leicester must have some beasts in defence if they don’t rate him. Hopefully works to our advantage - he looks like a proper blade to me.
