This has been a problem all season ,poor finishing and to rub salt in to the wound it is one of our old boys doing the damage

We've gone from potentially finishing fifth to finishing tenth in just three games. We look a shadow of the team that beat Spurs and Chelsea. We've always struggled up top all season as none of the strikers look capable of getting into double figures, but organisation and defense were our key to success this season, and now we just look poor.

We've no right to moan really as we've surpassed expectations, but it's very un-Wilder like to watch our season fizzle out in successive defeats and average performances all round.

It's a mixed bag of feelings. Happy and relieved that we've been top ten all season and haven't been in a relegation fight, but disappointing that we've not hit out standards in recent matches in a very poor end to the season. We can't blame the lockdown either as other teams have come out of it flying, particularly the team we're facing today.

We’ve been undone by an unfortunate goal where Berge’s tackle inadvertently slid it through to Adams who shot early, and by a second where a ricochet went to Adams straight in front of goal. Disappointing but hardly one to lose any sleep over.

Have also been undone by some abject finishing. They have taken both of their chances regardless of how lucky they were and we have missed three.

Southampton lucky AF

Everyone will do well to remember that we are a newly promoted side this season, a top 10 finish is absolutely excellent and a real achievement given the financial disparity between us and even the most 'average' Premier League teams (Southampton a case in point).

Yes, we look like ending the season with 3 straight defeats. BUT - the lads deserve us acknowledging and remembering what went directly before that; a run of games against Spurs, Wolves, Burnley, Chelsea yielded 10 points. That was incredible and showed what we can do when we get it right.

As unexciting as it may be, for now, simply staying in this division is success.

Didn't look like much contact, fuck off Hendrie

Turned it off cant watch this crap. We should be at least 3-1 up. Diabolical. Need some decent strikers.

First half we were the best side and should've scored 2 second half they're the best and scored 3

It's a replay of the game at the Lane. They take the chances we have not.
