Cheers Roy 👍

"His record with Blackburn and Sheffield Utd will attract teams looking for a striker. Not having to play backwards and sideways will help him.

Not only Martin, their new manager has Guardiolitis aswell, obsessed with passing in the 18 year box between keeper and defenders.

Of course they conceded a goal doing just that.

Fucking comical this obsession.

I wasn't going to bother with this one to be honest as we've seen him play more than them. Laughing at the Southampton fans on twitter saying "he's shit, lads" like we know nothing about him.
Cheers for the effort Roy. We have certainly hyped him in our own minds, so he does come with a certain pressure to perform way better than what the Saints fans saw. Cheers

“his touch his poor, he lacks pace, and for me just doesn’t look like a PL level player.”

“I wouldn’t even put him at league one level. I think he has nothing about him at all.”

I'd check your own house is in order lads...

He scored 6 goals in 14 PL games last season.
Southampton have scored 15 goals in 22 games as a TEAM this season.
They don't have a single player on 3 goals yet.

To be fair it’s not hype, he was really good for us, one bright spark in a terrible season. I’m excited about this, hope he gets off and running straight away. He should be match-ready despite not playing much.

Better than I was expecting actually. Hopefully he does well and then signs for us in the summer.

Us Blades don’t really tend to get on players backs if they’re doing poorly, which is obviously great credit to us because Brewster could’ve easily been one those. My point is, players tend to love it here because we back them if in spells where they’re not quite firing. I firmly believe that’s why Campbell has done so well, being away from negative Stoke fans and being backed by us. BBD could be similar to this.

Also a few digs for Che Adams - who's netted a reasonable 9 G/A in 22 games in Italy this season

Thanks Roy,

Southampton, who are on course to beat our worst every PL season.

There I've said it.

Think I'm getting cold feet. BBD's fine, my bloody feet are freezing.

View from Grecian2000.

"Was the one bright spark from a gruelling and tedious season. Scored a few, missed a few more, but always looked to be our most dangerous player even when initially not quite fit enough for 90 minutes. Well worth seeing how he does now dropped back in class."

View from Southampton!!! Who gives a shite? Playing Russell Martin "let's keep it in our half" stylie, must have dulled their senses completely.

Their anger at their current predicament has clearly clouded their judgment.

They have clearly forgot he played for us ironically he scored 6 in 14 in a team cobbled together compared to the amount Russell Martin and co spent so how sh*t does that make them.

Can't be arsed to read it. We know how good he can be and I'm glad he's here. I couldn't care less what happened at Soton or what they think of him. Welcome home Ben.

Cheers Roy 👍

Hope CW can stop us playing backwards & sideways.
We had a go on Saturday.
Probably daren't risk 1,000 passes in our own half now Souttar's been replaced by Robbo.
