I’d had 3 pints Foxy and I’m not fast at the best of times!

Joking aside, the pinching method seemed to be the one which worked in the end. I did see someone say on here it was due to having Bluetooth turned on too, so I’ll turn this off in future, in case it was that.

If it's NFC, Bluetooth won't make a difference. AFAIK, on modern iPhones, background read mode is only disabled when the camera is open and previewing, I don't think even Aeroplane mode de-activates it, and theres certainly not a setting.

Could potentially add it in wallet before hand, and that make make it slightly easier... or SUFC (or more accurately the platform provider) could provide it as a pass in the first place.

The vast majority, if not all Android builds will have a toggle to turn on/off, as they aren't restricted in the same way as in iOS, and often its turned off for battery saving.

If you chose a mobile ticket, but printed it off, would that work in the scanner? Same for if you chose print at home but tried to scan it on your phone instead. I can't get my head round why it wouldn't, but given you have to choose one or the other, that must be the case?

It is utterly bizarre why they tried to differentiate like this. If the scanner can scan a QR code on a bit of paper then it is surely able to scan the same QR code on a mobile screen. Why complicate matters for no reason?

The steward at our gate was asking people who had their tickets on a phone to screenshot the ticket and use the screenshot instead of the actual ticket🤔

Agreed, there should be an option for both to work, otherwise airport check in’s would be a disaster.

Spurs at the Lane
Fifth Round tie. Tickets on sale to Season Ticket Holders
from 9am on Monday 13th February.

Starts queuing to get in now.

Though tbf, I’ll sit in my season ticket seat this time and it’s far easier to get in John Street.

Best guess is that if you print a mobile ticket it's going to default to printing it full A4 size which might leave you with a QR code too big to go under the scanner.

I reckon if you resized it to around 20% of original size before printing it would be reight.

Printing works fine. Prints A4 but codes at top and even tells you where to fold !!! Magic !

They're not posting Cup tickets out though
Purchase Date:13/02/2023

Wow, that's contrary to what they were saying elsewhere. They certainly weren't for Wrexham

Maybe lessons learnt , Tottenham plastic fans wont have the same problems , they will get their secretarys to sort it .

I did mine at work on the A0 pen plotter. I couldn't get through the turnstile, never mind the scanner.........

Lots of slightly more senior people seem to struggle getting the phone screen under the reader without somehow pressing another button or the orientation switches as they tilt the screen, well I’ve seen it happen a few times whilst trying not to moan while the steward tries to work out the issue. Then you’ve got problems when there are multiple tickets on one phone, scrolling and passing the phone back through the turnstile!

Just print one out for each person, it’s far easier
