Aye:-Steward told me the scanners weren't recognising tickets. They should have opened a gate and checked them in by hand.
Yeah this happened to me. It took 5/6 attempts for it to work. Not a dicky bird.
Someone has said on Twitter that their phone tries to default to Apple Pay when scanned, which is something Foxy pointed out before.
I'm under 40 and couldn't get in with the QR code. Every time my phone went in the reader Apple Pay came up so it wouldn't read. So no, not quite the right assumptionWell arguably, then, it's the QR stuff that held queues up. That won't get sorted overnight. Under 40s know the score. The seniors, not so. (some will but as a generalisation, its right)
Surely they cant avoid this if they only have a handful of turnstiles?
The simple thing to do is have someone ( a steward there are plenty around doing nothing,) who knows the way to use these Barcodes..loads of fans faffing about trying to get in with no knowledge how to use them or how about using the website to show the way to do it.Maybe ask your da’ & your Nan where they’re going next time they put on their coat on a match day
Some fans trying to use there mobile others having a barcode on a sheet of paper°can't anyone at the club take this on board it happened against forest last season
Spurs next!do we have to suffer same again! Hope not.
I think you'll find that those "pillocks" had only just got through the turnstilesHad the kop been open fully, may I suggest there would have been far less issues and a bigger attendance.
I am a South Stand regular (old moaning twat obvs) but was amazed at the number pillocks wandering up and down the aisle till about 8.15
in some sort of stupor looking for a row and a number. FFS its not difficult.
Well the good news is, on Satdi I will be able to go the Sheaf View, imbibe a couple of stiffeners and roll up at 2.55 and be in my seat at 2.57.
I seem to remember they said that due to the short selling period for this game, they couldn't load tickets to season cards. Should be ok for the Tottenham game - with a bit of luck.i agree they start putting the match on the card again it was a very good system. maybe have a 1st day of sales where you can reserve the Season ticket seats

And yet our Welsh visitors managed to swamp us all with pink dust and the like when celebrating their freak penalty. Were they searched on the way in?Nearly 70 and I managed it. Was a bit surprised when I was frisked before going in though
That's true but 100s of people did.A steward was asked how to do it he obliged which was fine. The options were either mobile tickets or print at home tickets - so as long as you'd picked the right one and tried to use it in the way that was intended, this shouldn't have caused issues.
Two toilets you flash bastard. I live in Barnsley we still only have one, and it’s down the back garden.I didn't have any issues last night. Only queue was at half time, our lass was in one toilet and my lad was in the other, the walk back downstairs was quick enough to hear Roy Keane.

Cheaper and quicker than posting them, I suppose.Never understood why they allow print at home tickets, not everyone is using decent ink or paper, and if the settings of your printer are set for a lower quality that could cause issues too. When you print at home gig tickets often they are scanned by a hand held device and often have more than one barcode to choose from too.
Be thankful you don't go on the kop then. Multiple queues? There's one mass of people that eventually trickles out into queues when you get to the pavement.
If all the turnstiles weren't open though, that's not good enough. There's little excuse for that
Agree. I’m ” virtually”, lost when it comes to modern technology, fortunately I’m helped by my wife and family, although not without abuse, insults and condescension. It is what it is, will only get worse. If I lived on my own I’d probably never go out.Old fellow in front of me struggled gave up.in the end. Or codes on phones were a problem apparently if the size was wrong theydidnt work older man in front of me had the code the full size of his phone screen. I printed off my ticket and it worked fine I'm 61 by the way and very rarely use my phone for this kind of thing. I would bet serious money that most of the problems were old buggers like me. Not to be ageist but I'm old and learning new shit is harder.
100%. Still baffled as to why it wasn’t fully open. Signed “ errant miscreant “ ( pommpey) winksHad the kop been open fully, may I suggest there would have been far less issues and a bigger attendance.

So you have to carry the bucket all the way from the kitchen down there? Two toilets you flash bastard. I live in Barnsley we still only have one, and it’s down the back garden.
