Someone's missing kick off! What gives? Are not all turnstiles open? Saving money
This is always going to cause problems. Loads of people aren't familiar with it.People unfamiliar with print tickets/QR codes.

Be thankful you don't go on the kop then. Multiple queues? There's one mass of people that eventually trickles out into queues when you get to the pavement. It’s that and the allowing of a free for all and multiple queues, slowing people even getting there to scan.
If all the turnstiles weren't open though, that's not good enough. There's little excuse for that
Well arguably, then, it's the QR stuff that held queues up. That won't get sorted overnight. Under 40s know the score. The seniors, not so. (some will but as a generalisation, its right)All the turnstiles were open. Only 6 each end for the South Stand.
As a generalisation it’s complete bullshit. But it only takes a small number for the whole thing to go tits up.Well arguably, then, it's the QR stuff that held queues up. That won't get sorted overnight. Under 40s know the score. The seniors, not so. (some will but as a generalisation, its right)

Well, it isn't. My dad is a senior and went to the box office for a print off as has no idea what he's doing. My uncle prints one off for my nan as she hasn't got a sufficient phone. So my generalisation isn't "bullshit", it's how it is.As a generalisation it’s complete bullshit. But it only takes a small number for the whole thing to go tits up.
I’m 62 and quite possibly more proficient with technology than you are. None of my friends and family of a certain generation have any problems. So your generalisation about people over 40 is bullshit and also ageist. Perhaps your experiences with your own family are the exception.Well, it isn't. Maybe ask your da’ & your Nan where they’re going next time they put on their coat on a match dayWell, it isn't. The second part of your post I agree with. When someone can't put their season card to the scanner properly, it frustrates those behind who then jump into the next turnstile. I know bevause I do it. If anyone still can't use those turnstiles 15 years on, wtf are ya doing leaving the house?

I'm over 70 and fine with itThat is complete bollocks Im over 60 and completely fine with it

You do realise people who are 40 were in their mid 20's when smart phones became a thing right?
