Sky's Best Premier League Goals 92/93 & 93/94

Watched both of these on the weekend and was surprised (well, not that surprised) that we only got one on for each season!

92/93 Dane Whitehouse against Chelsea at home - cross field ball from Deano, brought down on the run and lashed across the keeper

93/94 Dane Whitehouse at home against West Ham - brought down and smashed into the top corner from 25 yards to spark the comeback

Saddened that Hodges' lob against the pigs wasn't on there, or Hodges goal at Forest... we scored some good goals a that time.

Not seen the 06/07 but doubt we'd feature much on that - asides from Jags against Boro and/or Squinny's free kick against Pompey

Gillespie vs Charlton, unlucky that it was the same month as Scholes vs Aston Villa and Van Persie vs Charlton.

I always liked Deano's long ranger vs Liverpool with Grobbelaar stranded but I think since the passage of time it wasn't quite the worldy my 12 year old self thought it was.

93/94 we only scored about 5 goals so not surprised we hardly feature.

Franz Carr's at Ipswich in 1993-4 was a good strike. Littlejohn's winner v Liverpool the year before was a good finish too.

His lob was against Man U in cup.

His goal against Wendy was a low rolling shot after it was punched/headed out

What was the first ever goal? Cannot remember, think it was 92/93, I woukd have thought who ever it was it would feature, you know sky showing it, Liverpool? Man United? Arsenal? Help me out here

Strange how the passing of time clouds the memory... I picture that goal as Wendy keeper fisting away a corner and Hodgy dinking it back over him from about 25 yards... might need to search YouTube for it. Further out than the Man U goal and at the kop end.
