I don't think our views differ, maybe just how we express it.
The only difference between us from reading your post is that you say you "have faith in the people at the club to get the best deals possible..."
I'm sceptical by nature and the American's haven't earned that faith yet. For the same reasons you mention (protracted takeover) I still feel a little wary of them / their resources.
I hope they come up with the goods.
Let's be honest if they don't grasp the nettle in this window they are more than likely going to start seeing their investment value dwindle

So whether you trust them or not any businesse man worth his salt would see this as a unique opportunity and some clever recruitment could make or break their deal

Seems to me they like to extract maximum value from each deal they do which talkies with the people already at the club

To be fair, it's a valid concern.

Our already well-stocked direct competitors for automatic promption are becoming stronger, early into the window... whilst thus far, we've stood still at a very crucial time.
As always, will reserve judgement for a week or so but we really are playing catch up and need these bodies in for the vital 3 game week that's fast approaching.
Is it a valid concern? Would it not be better to get the players we really want rather than sign someone quickly for the sake of it? It’s all about patience. The main players will have had time to recharge there batteries as well players potentially being fit again

Exactly that, after 26 games we are right in the mix and this could easily be their best s chance of getting us up. For the sake of a smallish investment now the wealth of the PL is in their grasp.

Fail to go up this year and we have to do it all again next year with lower parachute payments and probably 3 or 4 key players leaving in the summer and 3 newly relegated sides fighting to go back up.

Meant to be a dickhead and he’s weird looking, so it’s a no from me.

I remember an interview with him early in his career. The gist of which was he’s got the IQ of a pebble. Carrying out basic adult tasks like eating meals or going to bed at night were beyond him.

Obviously talented, but there’s a reason for his career trajectory.

Who have Burnley signed? A full back none of us have heard of and Barnes. If we’d signed them pair, this place would be in mass panic and despair.

But as one of promotion rivals have signed them it is used as a stick to beat United with.

Only from a few fannies who are never happy about anything

I think it's valid.
How big of a concern it is, is the question.

4/5 very winnable games coming up if we get the squad in shape in time.
Major opportunity loss if we don't.

Not really worried right now, but will be disappointed if no business is done before the 3 game week we have coming up.

As I said to Frank, this window is our first major insight into the new Ownership. Alarm bells may ring if they don't sufficiently back Wilder sufficiently.

If we did all our business early it would be a sign we are overpaying for players other teams are desperate to offload. Yes, it would be nice to get some in soon but I'm happy to see where things are in a week or so before judging. I'll be happy if we land BBD (or equivalent), Hamza (or equivalent), a good CB, and a striker.

Could they not think of a cringey shite video for him?
I've just watched it, it's their usual style of over the top cringe as you say!

Could be a decent signing as cover in fairness but his career seems to be going downhill of late.
