We had fantastic support that day and singing to him I thought showed proper respect to a great manager.

Yes,great touch from Cloughie even though he'd just got relegated.
I think in his first Auto Biography he actually said 'those wonderful Yorkshire supporters' when describing the day.
I found this clip of Brian Gayle's header at the Trent End that relegated Cloughie,plus the thumbs up to those wonderful Yorkshire supporters...(wind on to 51 minutes)...appologies if you catch Bisonhead mug just before.

The Meersbrook was indeed also the boundary. Derbyshire was south of that brook and east of the Sheaf.
