"Don't throw the baby out with the bath water" springs to mind.
This squad, whilst chronically underachieving 9 games in, has got a mix of quality, experience and potential - to discard this and blindly chuck the likes of Ukaki and the other 2 in (you haven't seen the other 2 play, have you? I know I haven't) is just plain crazy and nonsensical, and would result in us getting thumped even harder every week.
As for One, take the Bristol City goal away and I've not seen a great deal from the kid to be honest, certainly not enough to suggest he should be ahead of Cannon in the pecking order.
Does he have potential? Yes.
Should he be in and around the squad? Yes, very probably.
The comparison with Cannon is born out of frustration I imagine, as he himself is still only a young kid at 22.
He hasn't pulled any trees up yet for us (and that's putting it incredibly politely), but he has scored 20 goals at Championship level in his career so far, he didn't score them by accident.
There's a player in there, it's up to the coaches and the boy himself to improve his levels.
The International Break couldn't have come at a better time, 2 weeks for Wilder to work with the squad - several big hitters from last season need to stand up and take ownership, and if they do, we'll smash Watford...... without Ukaki and co in the team.
