I hope we don't let them have the ball and hit them on the break, I want to see us holding the ball, keeping possession, dictating play, we have the players to do this and we are at home, let them think about hitting us on the break as their best chance of scoring.
 



Feared the season was over when then prize hunt Wilder was bleating about 'kids' fantasy at the start of his last interview.
Looks like another midweek debacle on the cards after that Abortion at Barnsley with moronic Starmergeddon come to football via Wilder.
1. If Gilchrist can't play more than 60 minutes a week he needs an urgent hospital appointment
Even allowing for the fact Jesus left him two against one all of Saturday.
2. Will be 100% better going forward if No 10 Hamer plays on right and Brooks on left.
3. Is Campbell fit yet? No real signs when I've seen him.
4. If it's rotation why are two centre midfielders and Burrows Hamer OHare not rotated? They cover more ground then most.
It's just Wilder bollocks.
5. Jesus is ANOTHER number 10. As Hamer and OHare and Hamer And McAtee were last year.
PLAY THEM THERE - especially if pretending its rotation. He will be a lot more dangerous there than OHare and Hamer would be much better on the right than him or Brooks.
Got to say the Prem was full of a lot of shit teams with brain dead managers but the Chumpionship is clearly worse.
They will need to be as well for this team and these insane formations.

However CW stuck with RS and he had a brilliant first half at Pompey and I think he will start tonight. I also think if CW wants to give Moore a rest he will start Brewster not Campbell

Its that why they haven't bothered, apart from about ten of them...of course mid week from Wales is always going to be fun 😆🫣
 
They look quite tidy on the ball although no threat so far
 
Peck or Souza need to push on, otherwise with the keeper we r playing with 7 defensive playere

Early report

0-0 and no chances from either side.
It’s like a sparring match with both teams seemingly happy to go in 0-0 at half time.

However Swansea are much the better team with the ball, with crisp fast passing making us look like the away side.

The team and the crowd have been half asleep…..ohhh nearly scored….best chance of the match and a great save.
 
Typical Swansea really.

They are knocking it around like a Premier league team making us chase shadows but they have zero penetration and yet again our defence looks so comfortable.

Can only think that we’re pacing ourselves. Hoping it’s like the Derby game where we come out fired up 2nd half kicking against the Kop. However this half is like a training game and we look disjointed with a low energy/ tempo. The crowd has been really quiet too as there’s been virtually nothing to cheer. Campbell has been a spectator hardly touching the ball.
 
I know Chris said we need to be patient but my god this is a difficult watch. Just no movement whstsoever
 
We've been way off it this half, the passing has been woeful, Swansea should be 1 up
